Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of August 5th

No Carter or Kenzie on Monday, they stayed with friends. Owen and I played 6 holes of golf before we got bogged up with other golfers and he got fussy. Hit 4 of the best drives I have ever hit on Hidden Waters but the 2nd and 3rd shots were not pretty.

20 days and counting to Scott and Bridget’s wedding. No stress. When I got measured for the Tux I texted Scott and Bridget that I was measured and picking up the tux on Sept 12th. My phone rang before I backed out of the parking spot. I told Bridget it seemed like stress free planning so far and I figured she needed a poke. Becki and AJ thought it was pretty funny. Scott didn’t.

Had all 3 kids overnight on Sunday night. Owen went to bed crabby but woke up this morning like an angel. Carter and Kenzie stayed up til 10 but slept later this morning. In fact Kenzie went and woke Carter up to play with her. No golf this morning but got 5 miles in on the bike and the grass mowed. Rode past the sweet corn, tassels out but no picking going on. Tuff weather weekend all over. Prayed by candle light Sunday morning. AJ is out till Tuesday or Wednesday out in Amherst. We cleaned up 5 boxelder trees that were damaged but did no damage to cars or buildings at her house. Scotty was still out this morning as was the Waupaca Store. Roger has a generator hooked up to the refrigeration units for now. Aaron was back on Sunday night. We blinked at the store a couple times but never went out. Have customers in telling of spotty outages yet. Hope you are all well.

Tuff Papa day for Kenzie, bumped her head on the corner of the wall and Carter pulled the door open on her toe. Good thing she is a tuff old hockey player.

Hot one on the golf coarse today. Ken came over to Waupaca today to play. He shot 39, I had 54. Nana and Owen went into the clubhouse after the 4th hole, to warm. Carter hit a couple good ones. Hot dogs were ordered from the 5th tee box again, spoiled grand children.

Owen was in the lake with me yesterday. He likes the water. Didn’t even get blue lips on him.

Owen’s 2nd round of golf today. He was awake for most of it. Carter and Kenzie kept the sun off him and we parked in the shade a lot. Made the call from the 5th tee box for hot dogs. I shot 46, only 2 pars but only 2 double bogies too.

Went to the LPGA at Thornberry Creek on Saturday with AJ and Jimmy. Had a good time, saw more of the coarse this year, hopefully more next year. Just a all around fun event. Doesn’t hurt to have corporate suite access with all the food and drink you want either.
