Road part of the Sparta Elroy trail Sunday. Up hill to the longest tunnel, walked the bikes both ways. Got soaked by the water dripping from the ceiling. Owen did OK until some girls started screaming like a Halloween movie. Sylvi did fine in the tunnel even with the screaming. Nana went with us also, borrowed an E bike for her. Now she is ready to buy one. She told Owen earlier in the week that she was going to go and wait for us at the ice cream shop. She got a dirty look for that.

Shot 49 this morning with my sister and 3 grandkids. Would have been much better if I can stop launching a couple into the woods on 9. I did putt better this week and so did my sister.

Probably the last Waupaca sweet corn this Thursday.

Played golf in the Gameday scramble Sunday. A hot one. Best ball format so we ended up 6 under. Don’t know if we wone anything. Shot 48 today with Owen and Sylvi. I hit left on a short par 3 with a pond in front of it. They were walking around the pond looking for frogs. After I was done putting I drove the cart around the pond to the next tee box. I was impressed, instead of chasing me the long way around they went straight to the tee box. Papa you drove off without us!

Had a nice week fishing in Canada last week with my golfing partner and his more handsome, more intelligent brother from California. Ate fish every day, brought fish home. Got a round of golf in, I shot 93 on 18, they did a little better. Got caught in a rain storm without rain gear. Thank you for helping my people keep the store going while I was gone.

Owen is riding his bike better now. I think we should move the training wheels up a little so he gets better balance. He got off his bike and let it free roll down the hill. I think he was trying to hit me.
