Specials @ Niemuth’s Southside Market for week of February 5th.

Walked with Owen and Sylvi this morning. They were climbing up on the frozen snowbanks saying, “Watch this Papa.” The grand child equivalent of “Here hold my Old Style.” I tell them stories while walking, 3 little pigs and others. Sylvi says I am too loud. If I stop Owen says Keep reading. I always tell him I am telling the story not reading. Then I ask where I left off to see if he was paying attention.

Carter and Kenzie are both going to state in March for Hockey. Carter’s weekend is in Amery and Kenzie’s weekend is in Rhinelander.

Last week of January and spring is close. Sunshine and high 40s this weekend.

Owen and Sylvi were whining about going for a walk this morning. Got them dressed and outside and they took off over the snow and ran down the road to the boat landing. Dad’s truck was there so he was out fishing. We found him all the way at the North end of the lake. Sylvi wouldn’t go out on the ice so we didn’t go out and see him. He caught a bunch of Northern, Bass, Bluegill and Crappie. He releases all of them.

No school today. Had Sylvi and Kenzie this morning. Owen went ice fishing with his dad and Red (the dog) on the lake. The girls and I walked out on the ice by them, all the way to the north end of the lake. They caught one large mouth bass while we were there but Owen wouldn’t hold it for a picture. He did hold a nice one later on. He told me he knows a lot about fishing for a 4 year old.

Waupaca home hockey tournament for Carter next weekend.

BBQ Club event on Saturday January 27th at the Stoneyard Greenville. We are cooking St Louis Ribs to benefit Old Glory Flights from the Fox Valley. Only 100 Ribs will be served starting at 11 AM.
