So when you see a building on fire call nine one one.  Louise was driving out to the lake on Friday and saw a fire at Silvermist Garden Center.  She Called our son Scott who is on the Volunteer Fire Department in Waupaca instead of nine one one.  He told her to call nine one one and hung up on her.  He called nine one one and she did also, she met him heading into town with his lights flashing.  Don’t know how much damage but they had the hole in the roof fixed by the time I got back from golfing this morning.

Speaking of golfing, Kenzie and I got our last round of the year (maybe) in today.  It was a beautiful day on the golf coarse.  I don’t know where Kenzei got the idea but the first 3 holes she ran up on the green and picked up my ball before I could putt.  It was also a little sad out there.  The last round that my Dad and I played was the Monday before the election in 2008, mid 70s and sunny, a really good day on the golf coarse.

Beautiful day in Minocqua today.  Carter and I went fishing, got about 5 hours on the water before it started to mist.  He did pretty good for a 4 year old, only had to go back to the truck once for a banana because he was hungry.  He didn’t get cold either, even when we went fast in the boat.  We caught about 3 dozen fish, brought home 8 to clean.  Threw back a small musky, northern and small mouth bass and lots of little perch and blue gills.  The trees were in full color, oaks, maple and even poplar, I was surprised so many leaves were still there.

We cut firewood on Sunday.  Sent AJ and Kenzie to get a gallon of gas for the log splitter.  When AJ and Kenzie left Kenzie threw a royal fit because Papa was doing something special without her.  Even her mom was in trouble with Kenzie when she showed up at the house so they came back to see what Papa was doing.  I think I got her a little spoiled.

Another round of golf this morning, Probably fishing next Monday with Carter and Kenzie, then hoping for 2 or 3 more weeks of golf after that before we put the clubs away til January and indoor golf with the boys.

Carter has his first hockey practice of the year tonight.  Hope he remembers how to skate and stop without running into someone else or the wall.  Becki is kinda afraid that Kenzie will want to be out there skating with Carter.  She said the double blade skates were too small for her so they will either be shopping for bigger used double blades or Kenzie goes right to single blades.
