It is with heavy hearts that we write this week. My mother, Dorthy Niemuth, passed away last Wednesday morning. Services were today. She has joined our eternal savior and my dad in heaven. She was 87 and active and living independently till the end. Thank you so much for your kind words and prayers, Richard and Louise and family.

This weeks e-mail will be shorter than normal.

Fresh seafood for Tuesday will be Tilapia.
Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Ora King Salmon, Atlantic Cod, Alaska Halibut Cheeks and anything else that I might find interesting.
Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Chilean Sea Bass and Canadian Walleye.
Fresh seafood for Friday will be Pacific Grouper, Scottisn Salmon, Haddock, Wild Gulf Shrimp, Yellow fin Tuna, PEI Mussels, day boat scallops and either fresh or thawed perch.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of March 30th

Happy Easter and Passover! Store hours this week will be Monday – Saturday 9 – 9 CLOSED Easter Sunday to enjoy the holiday with family.

I was walking with the kids a week ago Sunday and we picked up a few beer cans along the way. Kenzie started walking into the woods and falling behind. Kenzie fell down and Kylie my niece was concerned until I hollared to Kenzie to stand up and say Ta Daa with her arms up in the air. Kenzie did and everything was fine.

The same Sunday their was some clay pigeons being shot. I got my 2 of 3 and quit while ahead. The boys kept shooting and missing. Just before putting the guns away Carter got a chance to shoot his first Clay Pigeon. It wasn’t flying, I hung it on a Corn Stalk. Carter’s dad Aaron helped him line up the shot and he got it.

The kids were with Nana on Saturday. Kenzie is deep into the terrible twos. When Dad came to pick the kids up he asked Carter is he was good for Nana. He said yes and then Kenzie pipes up “I NAUGHTY!!”

We had the best batch ever of Chef George’s Clam Chowder on Monday afternoon but I forgot to send out the e-mail on Sunday to let you know.  Now I have Chef George’s best batch ever of Clam Chowder available chilled but ready for you to heat and eat at home.  Sorry I got distracted on Sunday.

Happy St Patrick’s Day, stop in for a special offer on Left Hand Brewing’s Nito Milk Stout and start a new tradition.  Happy first day of spring except it looks like it might be a little colder this weekend.

Only in Wisconsin can I get 18 holes of golf in (on the simulator but could have been outside) on Thursday and stand on 30 inches of ice jigging perch on Sunday.  Both were lots of fun, especially ice fishing with my boys and Carter.  I had Carter hold his arm out to see if the eagles that were flying around would land on it.  They landed on the ice about 25 yards away to see if we would toss them a fish.
