They stayed with us at the lake last night but wouldn’t go for a walk with me this morning. Great morning for a walk, although less birds singing than I expected. Walked with Becki and the dogs Sunday. Should be walking my new grandson in a month or so when it warms up enough. Golfing with him in May!

You are looking at a newly minted Papa. Owen David was born on Thursday morning, 8 pounds 14 ounces. Both families say he looks like a Niemuth.

Carter isn’t worried, says he is still the favorite “Niemuth” grand son. Kenzie was just happy it was a boy AND she won the baby pool. She also loves to announce to everyone that she has a new cousin!! Owen will also have his first March Madness bracket this year. Jimmy says that just means AJ gets 2.

Kids were skiing on Sunday at Mount Morris. Last run of the day was across the pond. Becki made it a little farther than Carter, both were soaking wet.

One more round of golf on Wednesday. Still need a fourth if anyone is available. Noon Tee time.

Happy Mardi Gras Weekend, yes nest weekend is Mardi Gras weekend and Tuesday March 5th is Fat Tuesday. Look for Hot Jambalaya, Gumbo and other Cajun items for the next 10 days or so.

Kenzie had a hockey tournament in Fond du Lac over the weekend. Didn’t hear how she did but they made it home safe on Sunday afternoon. Don’t know where Carter played but State starts next weekend. The boys are hoping for a 3rd straight championship.

Eight of us went to Lion King last Thursday, Katsu Ya before the show. Kenzie’s first experience with Hibachi flames and big time theater. She was at Carter’s school play in the morning, Carter was a Werewolf. Both of them got a lot of culture last Thursday.

Carter’s hockey team split on Saturday. They lost big the first one and won big in the second. My cousin from Milwaukee and I were at the second game. Carter had some great saves in goal. My cousin was amazed how fast the boys skated.
