Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of March 16th

Happy St Patrick’s Day! Just what we need, another reason to eat and drink.

Went up to Hayward ice fishing over the weekend. Owen and AJ, Carter and Kenzie and Mom and Dad and Nana. Kept 21 perch for Saturday night fish fry. Owen was walking in short bursts of 6-8 steps. Won’t be long now. Six teeth also.

Carter wouldn’t bet me on most fish, he lost anyway. Kenzie had her ears pierced before we went up. She told us they were her birth color, we corrected her, it was her birth stone.

Store Hours are 10-8 Monday – Thursday, 9-9 Friday and Saturday and 10-6 Sunday
We will be open and ready to serve you unless required by government order to close due to the virus.

Safety is at the center of all we do at Niemuth’s. As information about the new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are committed to taking preventive measures to reduce the risk to our customers and employees while ensuring the availability of products you depend on us to provide.
To date, we have taken the following steps:
• Our employees are proactively following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, including:
– Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.
– Washing their hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. Always washing hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty.
– Avoiding touching their eyes, nose and mouth.
– Covering a cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throwing the tissue in the trash. If no tissue, sneezing or coughing into elbow, not hands.
– Cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched objects and surfaces using a regular household cleaning spray or wipe. In addition, we are disinfecting all entry doors and out meat bunker which, again falls into the frequently touched objects with a Clorox disinfectant bleach product.
• We have emphasized the need for our employees to avoid close contact with large groups and anyone who appears sick.
Please help us in limiting the spread of COVID-19..
As we’ve seen over the past few days, conditions with COVID-19 are rapidly changing. We continue to monitor updates from the World Health Organization, the CDC and the Centers for Public Health, and state and local health agencies on a frequent basis.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of March 9th

Happy Birthday to Owen over the weekend. Got to stay up late on his birthday again but no helicopter ride this year. For some reason the dogs like laying on the floor under his high chair. One of them was pretty well pasted with frosting. He is a spoiled grandchild, lots of toys.

Kenzie lost a tooth on Sunday trying to bite her brother not in a hockey game. She wrote a note to the tooth fairy telling her side of the story. The tooth fairy wrote back to tell her not to bite her brother. She is 7 and it was a loose one anyway. She is getting her ears pierced after hockey on Saturday.

Specials for week of March 2nd

Owen has 2 new teeth on the top this time. He also learned to entertain himself playing peek a boo in the mirror in the back seat that AJ uses to see him while driving. He pulls his hat over his eyes then pulls it up and laughs. He went to sleep on our walk this morning and also took an almost 3 hour nap after that.

Don’t know if I want to tell you this or not but my pretty little grand daughter might be turning into a hockey goon. The team they were playing were playing rough. Her mom told her to give them 3 strikes before she pushed back. Kenzie said to her mom “I don’t think I can wait that long” and she didn’t.

Carter was on the ice for 4 hours one day last week practicing. He skated with the younger kids then practiced with his team and then played goalie for the older kids because both of their goalies were sick. Becki said he was sleeping about 5 minutes after he hit the pillow that night.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of February 10th.

Happy Valentine’s day this Friday. Went to the Garden Expo in Madison on Saturday with Nana, AJ and Owen. Stayed in a motel on Friday night, had Owen in the pool on Saturday Morning. Apparently I am still sleeping through middle of the night baby crying. Owen liked the sand and food at the garden expo. We were looking for a bunny rabbit, but apparently not the favorite wild life in the garden. Found lots of squirrels, goats, cows and chickens. We also went of 2 quilt stores and one meat market. Meat market was interesting, very small and about twice the price.

Carter and Kenzie are hard at hockey. Kenzie will be playing some goalie this weekend. Hoping I can get them to go up north ice fishing for a day or two this month. Might have to be during the week so they don’t miss hockey.
