Golfing this morning with Owne. Shot 52, would have been better if I hadn’t 3 putted so many holes and launched 3 into the woods. Owen was hitting off the tee box with his putter. He would point and say out there to show me where he was going to hit the ball. He did whack one really hard from 2 feet away on the green. It hit the flag pole and dropped in. I couldn’t believe it as hard as it hit the pin.

Carter is playing Pop Werner football now. They just put the ice in last week for hockey. He read Little Blue Truck to us last night. His mom said he was too far below grade level. Kenzie read Are You My Mother. She is cute how she inflects her voice when she reads.

Sylvi was a little restless today. Couldn’t tell if she was hungry (and growing) or frustrated because she can’t chase me or her brother yet.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of September 6th

Busy Labor Day today. Golf with AJ, Owen, Nancy and Mark. Didn’t start very well, not enough of the circus there. Carter and Kenzie were in Door County camping with the hockey families. Didn’t add up the scores, but Owen was pretty put out that we didn’t call and order a hot dog for him from the 5th tee box. He had 2 pieces of toast before golf and the hot dog after along with a large nutter bar thing and a pink lemonade. School has started so it will be just me and him until November. Guess the hot dog thing is set in stone.

Nap as normal after golf. Then mowed the grass and floated in the lake with Carter and Kenzie after they got home from camping. Water was a little chilly but not bad. Finally got a 5 mile bike ride in, first time in a couple weeks and now back to work.

Live Lobster weekend is September 17-18. Hurricanes are not helping availability so I won’t have a price until probably the 14th. Order early as quantity will help with the price. call 920 734 4905

My little brother Roger passed away on Sunday after a 3 week battle with Covid. GET VACINATED! It could save your life or the life of someone you love. Roger never married (didn’t want to listen to her) he would say but he left behind a large number of friends who thought of him as a brother and a brother and sisters and lots of nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. We will miss him.

Shot 50 golfing today with the circus, well most of the circus. Only Kenzie and Owen today. Would have been 48 if I didn’t launch 2 into the woods on 9. Kenzie didn’t even want to drive the cart, didn’t have Carter to fight with over driving.

My nephew John is getting married on Saturday. AJ called me about the traditional round of golf before the wedding. I said early because John has something going on and before I could tell her he needed to pick up a pallet of ice she says “well yeah he’s getting married.” The things I have to put up with.

Shot 54 today golfing, lots of stuff going on. Couple golfers we let play through. Carter and Kenzie hit some nice ones off the tee. Owen even got off the tee box in 3 shots. Lots of phone calls and texts, by brother is in the hospital with covid. Really regrets not getting vaccinated. Not on a ventilator yet as far as I know.

You all came to BBQ club on Wednesday at the Stoneyard in Greenville. Wednesday night 6PM grilled pizza is on the menu. No food cost, buy your own cocktails. Next Month, September, will be at the store here on Oneida Street. Cost will be $10 per person on that one. So far I have a nice desert scheduled with Fish Tacos, Alligator, dungenous Crab and a pork belly taco that another customer is making. Lots of other stuff also.

No golf this morning, too wet. Did go for a walk, Owen was chasing Kenzie until she got mad at him. Pumpkins are blossoming but I don’t think we will get any pumpkins, too late in the season. Owen got his head shaved. Mom didn’t intend to go so close but that is what happens when you tray to give a 2 year old a haircut.

All 4 of them went to the Milwaukee Zoo on Saturday. Giraffes, Penguins, Otters and Gorilla were good but the fish were the best for Owen. It was sensory over load at the Aquarium looking at all the fish. The train was probably 2nd best but it was hard keeping their arms and legs inside the ride at all times.
