Sylvi was counting monkeys for Nana this morning. She was 1, 2, 3, 11. Owen was outside swinging a stick around at a plastic bottle. He was having trouble with the “s” sound. Nana was cracking up laughing because it sounded like something else. I will leave it to your imagination.

Kenzie was “babysitting” Owen and Sylvi on Sunday. She was pushing them in the car and tipping over in the snow.

Store hours are 10-6 Sunday-Tuesday, 10-7 Wednesday-Thursday and 9-7 Friday and Saturday. WE WILL BE CLOSED EASTER SUNDAY.

Rye Barrel aged coffee only at Niemuth’s. Coffee beans were aged in one of our barrel pick Rye barrels. Ground and ready to brew. Samples usually available. Sean used it to rub his pork chops over the weekend, fantastic.

Happy first day of Spring. Robins and Sandhills are back in Waupaca and Appleton. Boats on the river. Ice is starting to break up. Sounds like there will be some fishing on Lake Michigan. Halibut season is open in the Pacific.

Had dinner with John and Lisa Sunday night. Owen and Sylvi got to see the new born baby cows. I stayed by the gate to make sure the other expectant moms didn’t make a break for it. Owen and Sylvi survived Spring break week with Nana. Now on Spring break with Mom.

Nice week or so vacation to Florida. It’s been 7 years since we have been there with road construction and covid. Stayed with my sister a few days and went to the beach a couple days. Sunshine and 80 degrees every day. Should have stayed longer. Louise has grandkids this week. Regular sitter is on spring break. We told AJ she should box the kids up and ship them down to us in Florida. Tomatoes and strawberries were really good. Maybe longer next year.

Big skating weekend. Kenzie won 2 games in Wausau and scored a goal. Went to open skate Sunday night with Owen and Sylvi and Carter and Kenzie. Owen was amazing skating around the rink with the chair. Carter would push him on the chair then Owen had to skate around one time to get another ride. Sylvi was even on skates a few minutes. She pushed the chair about 30 feet and smiled every time she fell down.
