Hot food on Mondays is returning to Niemuth’s on the coldest day of the year so far. 

Chef George will be making Burgandy Mushroom Beef stew in bread bowls.  It will be available after 4 pm on Monday.  Call 920 734 4905 to reserve yours.

Chef George also has Wild Rice meat balls over pasta in our heat and eat section.  4-6 minutes in the microwave for a hot meal for two.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for the last week of 2014

Happy New Year!

My sister Janet is back home in Ancohrage Alaska where she says it is warmer than here.  She will be right the next couple days.  She brought smoked salmon this year because we appreciate it more than fresh fish from Alaska.

Haven’t seen much of Carter and Kenzie.  I know they went ice skating on Sunday night and Kenzie is skating with a chair and her dad.  Carter was a little demon on the ski hill on Friday night.  No emergency room injuries this year, AJ didn’t go so she wouldn’t get hurt.

Store Hours this week 9 – 9 Tues and Wed.  10 – 6 Thursday January 1st and 9-9 Friday and Saturday.

Fresh Seafood for Tuesday will be Ora King Salmon, Wild Sockeye Salmon (thawed) Scottish Salmon, u10 Scallops, Shucked Oysters, Atlantic Haddock, Fresh Halibut, Live Oysters, PEI Mussels, wild gulf shrimp and Live Oysters.  I will also have 2 sizes of King Crab and 3 or 4 sizes of cold water Canadian lobster tails available in the counter.

Fresh Seafood for Wednesday will be 10 Live Lobsters.  That is all the extra ones I will order above my pre orders.  If you want to guarantee live lobsters you must order them.  920 734 4905

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of December 22nd Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas from the Niemuth Family and employees @ Niemuth’s Southside Market.  We have been extremely blessed this year by you, our wonderful friends and customers and also with a great staff of employees.  Many thanks to everyone and a Blessed New Year to all.

Childrens Christmas service was at church in Waupaca today.  Three Niemuth children participated, my grandson Carter and my brother’s kids Cameron and Kylee.  In 2 years Kenzie will be the little girl in the front row lifting her dress up.  We were a little afraid that Carter was going to be the loud one but not this time.  Family in 4 pews and uncle Roger ushering.  My sister Nancy always says Niemuth kids performing always attracts a crowd.

Store Hours this week:  Mon – Tues 9 – 9, Wed, Christmas Eve 9 – 5, Closed Thursday Christmas Day, Fri – Sat 9 – 9 and 10 – 6 next Sunday.

Nine days til Christmas Eve.  Hams are in the smoke house, ribs are in the cooler.  Kenzie is working on her HO HO HO and Carter is still Carter, telling stories about his fire calls singing along with Christmas Carols.  They had their picture taken with Santa tonight, haven’t seen it yet.  My sister Janet is home for Christmas, flew in from Anchorage Alaska today.  This usually means it will get colder here in Wisconsin.  She usually can’t wait to go home where it is “warm.”

Holiday store hours will be 9-9 Monday – Saturday and 10 – 6 Sunday.  December 24, Christmas Eve 9-5 and Closed Christmas Day.  December 31, New Years Eve 9-9 and January 1, New Years Day 10 – 6.  Call 920 734 4905 to place orders.

Last week a customer was giving me a hard time about not golfing.  I told him its a holiday season and I have to work and that I would be golfing again in January.  He asked if I was going south and I said no, North to Mid Valley’s indoor simulator.  I also invited him and anyone else who might be interested to join us.  Tim had shoulder surgery so won’t be golfing until late spring hopefully. 

Store hours are 9-9 Monday – Saturday and 10 – 6 on Sunday.  We will be open Christmas Eve 9 – 5.  Closed Christmas Day, Merry Christmas.  Open New Years Eve 9 – 9 and New Years Day 10 – 6.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of December 1st

Aah December, seems like just a blink or two ago we were ringing in the new year and now we are just a month away from ringing in again.  December includes several milestones for the Niemuth family, Carter turns 5 this month, my grandfather would be 115 this month and we will be starting our 12th year in the store this month.

Carter was out skating on the lake last weekend but it was a little too cold for him, not like the hockey rink.  Hopefully this weekend will be better for skating.

Kenzie had a cute moment Sunday night.  It was time to go home and her dad caught her to put her shoes and coat on.  She yelled “Naa Naa save me, save me.”
