Niemuth’s Specials for the week of June 8 – 13

Well the boys left for Canada last Saturday morning. It was very uneventful this year. Didn’t have to meet Richard in Fremont with something he forgot or anything. Of course, he didn’t leave the store until about 10:30 pm either. Although I did try calling him a couple of times this morning with no answer only to have someone from one of our vendors call and tell me that Richard said to call Dave at the store. I said ‘You talked to Richard?’ She said ‘Yes’ Me: This morning? She: Yes, he was just finishing up the 18th hole. Me: Wait, he was golfing? She: Yes. So then I finally get at call from Richard. Me: I thought you were fishing? He: Well, we will be. Me: Since when do you go golfing up there? He: I always golf on Monday. Me: You’ve been going up there 20 some years and never once mentioned that you golf on Monday. He: …nothing… but I knew exactly what the expression on his face looked like!

I also had the kids last Thursday. Carter convinced me that we need to buy a little plastic dump truck and payloader for them to play with at Nana’s house. He wanted to play with them in the ‘play flour’, which is the flour they play in when Nana is making cookies(for the golfers to take to Canada). Got it all out and asked him where are the trucks. Carter says Kenzie is playing with them on the front step. I see the front door open and here is Kenzie with Papa’s two newly planted flower pots dumped out on the step and she’s spreading the potting soil around with the front end loader. I said ‘What are you doing? She says ‘I make a mess!’ She was so proud.
