Yes the week before Memorial Day. Love your freedoms, Thank a Veteran.

Store Hours for this week will be 9 – 9 Monday – Saturday, Sunday 10 – 6 and Monday Memorial Day 10 – 6.

Carter and Kenzie had lots of fun playing in the dirt their dad dug up from around their house in Waupaca to fix the basement wall. They even got to sit in the digger just like Quarry Quest Carter said. We didn’t hear much about him hitting the gas line that he knew was there. Or the fire trucks and policemen that blocked the street or the gas company truck that came to fix the leak. He didn’t post any of those pictures on facebook. Your welcome Aaron’s buddies! Have at him!

Just got home from my sister’s in Columbus Ohio so no other good Carter or Kenzie stories.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of May 11th

Store Hours are Monday – Saturday 9 – 9 and Sunday 10 – 6.

We melted some hot fudge in the microwave to drizzle on dessert on Mother’s Day so I took the spoon and pasted some on Kenzie’s upper lip like a mustache. She wasn’t real pleased with me until she stuck her tongue out and tasted it, then she licked the spoon.

Carter has started soccer. No word yet wether he is a dandilion picker or a bumble bee. Might get to his practice/game next Monday to find out.

First bike ride of the year Sunday, not on the exercise bike in the basement, boy did those little hills get steeper over the winter. Didn’t help that the bike had soft tires or that I’m another year older.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of April 27th

Yes, end of April already. Played golf at Hidden Waters this morning with Kenzie, Carter was bummed that he is older and now has to be more responsible and go to school and miss golfing til June. Shot 47, par the first and last holes with bogie or so inbetween.

Carter did get to play in the water after lunch. I was raking leaves out of the lake, catching minnows, crawfish and helgremites in the process. Carter was poking sticks in the water pretending to fish. Guess I will have to get a box of worms to keep in Na Nah’s fridge.

Store hours are 9 – 9 Monday – Saturday and 10 – 6 on Sunday.
Highway 47 road closure is causing increased traffic on Oneida in front of our store. The busiest hours seem to be 3 – 6 pm. Turn right out of our parking lot even if you need to go North (left). It will be faster and safer to go around the block than to try to turn left during this time. Taft has a left turn arrow during these hours if you need to go back north or east. Thank you for shopping with us during these higher traffic times.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of April 13th

Traffic Alert!!! Road closure of Hwy 47 between Midway Road and Valley Road has caused an increase in traffic on Oneida Street. It will be easier to get here if you can come from the north (Calumet Street) and exit south on Oneida to get back home. Use Wilson street (right turn) or Taft street (left arrow) to get back north, east or west. Traffic was especially bad between 3 and 6 pm. Be Careful out there! Watch for bikes and motorcycles.

Thank you to everyone sent cards and offered your sympathies to me and Louise last week. Mom and dad are together again and mom got her wish, to go without interventions, nursing home or being a burden. She lived a relative healthy, active and independent life until the last 4 days and we thank the Lord for every one of her 87 years with us. She will be missed.

Carter and Kenzie were in Ohio over the weekend so I don’t have any cute stories. They did text a few cute pictures of the kids on the train at the zoo and playing in the trees. One cute AJ story, Scotty and AJ were fishing with me at Gills Landing on Saturday when Scott spotted AJ’s boyfriend in another boat. We had AJ call him to see if he would answer, he normally doesn’t when he is fishing. She yelled “you better answer that” when he looked to see who was calling.
