Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of August 10th

Went for a bike ride last night but only made it around the corner. Stopped to talk to my brother in law and when I took off I slid off the edge of the road and ripped my tire. Good thing I didn’t do it when I was 5 miles out or I would have needed to be rescued.

Kenzie was splashing Auntie AJ then went to give NahNah a wet hug when AJ splashed her back.

Carter is almost up to playing a whole hole of golf. This morning he hit off the tee and run up and hit it a couple more times then pick it up and run back so I could hit. Then he would throw it down by my ball and hit a couple. Then he would throw it on the green and putt. He gets a 10 on every hole. He says he is the winner because his score is higher than mine but he told NahNah he didn’t think that was right.

Store Hours are Monday – Saturday 9 – 9 and Sunday 10 – 6. We will be open Labor Day Monday 10 – 6.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of August 3rd

Ken had a day off today and came over to Waupaca to play golf with me and the kids. He was impressed with Hidden Waters. Carter and Kenzie abandoned me on the 2nd hole to ride with Ken the rest of the round. Carter hit a couple off the tee box about 25 – 30 yards.

Played golf with my cousin’s in Hayward over the weekend, our annual summer get together. We had golf ball size hail on the 3rd hole and had to wait about 20 minutes for it to blow over. Putting the next couple greens was like shooting marbles. Almost finished, the 2nd storm rained out the last 2 holes.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of July 27th

Carter hit the golf ball very well today, about 20 yards or so each time he tried. He also passed his swimming lessons last week to level 2. Don’t know what that means but I guess its good. Kenzie was jumping into the pool today for her lessons and the girl was catching her before she hit the water. Kenzie got back up on the pool side and told the girl to move back so she could get into the water before she caught her.

I kinda saved a life last night on my bike ride. I was riding down Stratton Lake Road past a well head for several pivot sprinklers. There was a truck parked there and a guy by the pipe. Seems there was a leak in the pipe that made the soil like a puddle of water. When he stepped in it he went up over his knees in the mud and couldn’t pull himself out. I got the shovel out of the back of his truck so he could dig himself out. I have only been close to that once in a duck marsh. It is kind of scary.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of July 20th

Carter’s last soccer practice/game was tonight. Nothing impressive for 5 year old soccer except he let me kick the ball away from him a couple times and he had to run after it. Now the wait for High school football, his dad coaches, and Hockey to start. Kenzie will be playing Hockey this year. Kenzie got to hand out freeze pops after soccer.

Called Scotty last Wednesday to wish him a happy Birthday. He was out with the other Wyoming fire fighters so we didn’t talk long. After I hung up I remembered that I should have had him look around the bar and see if he saw the future mother of my cowboy Grandchilderen.
