Road construction continues on Oneida St south of the store. If you are coming up from the South Turn Left on Valley Road, Right on Kerry and Right on Wilson then Left on Oneida to the store. Coming in from the North is wide open at Calumet. Please help the construction crew by NOT driving thru the construction zone. Business has improved since last week Wednesday when they opened Oneida at Calumet. Thank you for your great support, you have really made a difference for us.

Kenzie and I golfed today, I shot 55 again. I think she has given up golfing or farming the sand traps. Carter has figured out if he throws up on the bus on the way to school he doesn’t have to go to school. Last week he did it and got to spend the day playing with Auntie AJ. He tried it this morning and got to spend the day with his dad, not Papa. I don’t think he will be sick on the bus again. There was some hint that he really wasn’t sick on the bus today.

Week 9 of construction. Oneida Street is OPEN from Calumet (Dairy Queen) to Wilson Street (Red Ox) Easy Access to Niemuth’s from the North. If you are coming from the South the easiest is to turn Left ON Valley Road (Mobil) then Right on Kerry to Wilson, Right on Wilson and Left on Oneida to the store. Coming from the South you can also turn Right on Roeland (Community First) then Left On Jackson to Left on Murray straight into the store. Fishing on Lake Michigan this morning with Kenzie and AJ. No luck in Sheboygan, just a nice day on the water. Forgot Kenzie’s life jacket but they have a box of loaners for the kids. I did have 3 adult jackets in the boat but it was nice of the DNR to have a loaner at the landing that fit her. Let me know if anyone starts catching any trout or salmon near shore.

Road construction update

Great day on Oneida Street!

Good news Oneida is open to traffic both ways from Calumet to Wilson. South bound lane and North bound lanes are all open.

Bad news – No thru Traffic from the south. If you are coming from the South you have 2 options. Turn Right on Roeland at the credit union, then left on Jackson and left on Murray straight into the store. You will have a couple stop signs in the hood this way.

Option 2 turn Left on Valley road by the Mobil station, then right on Kerry then Right on Wilson and Left on Oneida to the store.

Both are easy shots thru the hood.

Please Don’t drive straight thru the construction zone to get to us. Let them work. Thank you, Richard

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of May 8th

Golfing today with Kenzie. She didn’t want to hit any balls today but she did want to drive the cart. Put a stop to that right away. No farming an any of the sand traps either. She must not have been feeling good. I shot 55 all 5s and 7s. If I could hit it towards the flag I would be dangerous.

Week 8 of road construction. Black top on the east side. She said we should get more access on Oneida street by the end of the week. They will be closing the street entirely south of us at Hoover and at the bridge for 2 or 3 weeks. Hopefully I can let you know when that will be. Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of May 1st

Kenzie, AJ and I were walking this morning out in Waupaca. A car came by and the gentleman stopped and asked is Kenzie was going to be in the wedding. Kenzie said Yes! AJ is not so sure anymore, she may have found a fatal flaw in Jimmy. He’s a Pulp free orange juice guy, AJ says it may be a deal breaker. I spoiled my kids feeding them the good stuff.

Kenzie’s soccer practice was canceled tonight due to wet conditions. Far as I know Carter’s baseball practice went on as scheduled. The Big boys are kind of pumped about Becki having the key to the batting cage.

Week 7 and Construction is starting to wear on me. Come in from the North on Oneida St or East on Murray is the easiest until they blacktop Oneida later this week. Coming from the South is hit and miss. Today it was blocked because of storm sewer laterals they were cutting across Oneida. hopefully it is open all day tomorrow. We really appreciate your patience and Loyalty getting to us during construction. Please send your family and friends also, we need them. The meeting is Tuesday night at Fox Crossing for the sewer replacement on our side of the street. Will have more details after that.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of April 24th

Golfing today with Kenzie. She has a horrible hockey swing, going to take a lot of work to fix this one. I shot Par on the first hole just like I finished the last hole last November. After the first it kind of became a mystery. Ended up with a 53. Kenzie was farming most of the sand traps around the coarse.

Carter is in baseball now. Just had team assignments, his first “game” is May 13th. We’ll see if his baseball swing is the same as his hockey swing.

Week 6 of road construction. Work is down by the Red Ox now. Looks like we will keep the access from the south, I was worried about that but looks good. Just be careful of moving trucks and tractors on your way in or come after 5 pm or on rainy days when they aren’t working. People shopping on Saturday and Sunday have been real happy with the easy access. One of the guys was in buying beef jerky said they were planning on blacktopping in front of Mary’s Place by the end of the week. Keep your fingers crossed. Watch our Facebook page for updates.
