AJ called to tell me that Owen told her he was naughty for Papa today. I said Yes he was. I was out on the deck unloading firewood from the van and Sylvi and Owen were watching me. I took the shop vac to the other side of the house to vacuum out the dryer vent. Owen came out the back door to see what I was doing. I told him to go back inside and lock the door (because it doesn’t always latch right), So I go around to the deck door to go in the house and Owen had locked that door also. So now I am locked out. I knocked on the door and at least he let me back in.

Carter and Kenzie played 4 hockey games each this weekend. Kenzie didn’t win any, I know Carter won 2, Must have done pretty good on Saturday. He was passing the puck trying to get a couple of his teammates a Hat Trick. He scored a goal in the first game on Sunday and played goalie in the 2nd. Didn’t allow any goals. After Kenzie’s last game I was trying to get her to hip check or elbow, be a little more aggressive on the ice. You know throw down the gloves and pull some jersey over the opponents head. Her mom said it was appropriate that I was wearing the “Papa the bad influence” sweatshirt.

Bonus nice weather in November. Took Owen and AJ fishing on Sunday. Few bites but nothing in the boat. Owen tried hooking both of us trying to cast. Then he got mad if one of us casted for him. Golfing today with Owen and Sylvi. Shot 49, all 2 putts except 1 putt on 9. Going to try for one more round outside on Wednesday. Beautiful day on the coarse. Got out of the car and the guy next to me asked if I had the grandkids with me. Guess I have a reputation on the golf coarse.

Hockey starts this weekend for Carter and Kenzie. 4 games in 2 different cities between them. Won’t slow down until March.

No golf today, forgot my clubs and kind of windy for a 6 month old. Hopefully golf on Wednesday.

Owen has 3 carved pumpkins. One is a digger, one a dump truck and the third is an otter. Owen loves otters and diggers and dump trucks. Sylvi doesn’t have a pumpkin. I think she is suffering from 2nd child syndrome, but she did get a cute haircut on Sunday, first one and recorded. She is no longer a turtle. Up and crawling around on her own.

I was trying to help Kenzie and Carter negotiate for a horse on Saturday at John and Lisa’s wedding party. I told them to ask for the black one, Lisa only has brown ones. Kenzie and Becki will be riding with Lisa before Thanksgiving.

Beautiful day for golf with the grandkids today. Shot 47, few more straight shots in the fairway instead of the woods. Eight two putt greens didn’t help either. Owen did make a 10 footer with his orange ball. He hit it pretty hard and it slammed into the pin and dropped in. He didn’t know how good a putt it was but I was impressed. Carter did it too when he was little. His was about 20 feet. Sylvia slept most of the round but didn’t take a nap this afternoon, therefore I didn’t get my nap either.

Carter’s Pop Warner football team took second in their division. The game was at Rosholt Saturday night.

We stopped at the bike shop on the trail, Becki got a water bottle holder installed and I got a new battery for my mile counter. When we got back to the house she had 13.7 miles and I had 11 mile even from the bike shop. Bottom line is we rode somewhere between 13 and 30 miles on Sunday.

Owen was burning up batteries driving his John Deere tractor around the yard. Then he sprayed his mom when she was spraying it off to put away.
