Sorry for the late note last week. Hard week with the holiday.

Played the Niemuth open golf Memorial day. Ten rode around the course 5 of us played. I figured out on the 7th hole why I wasn’t playing as well as I should have. I had my Crocs on instead of my shoes. Shot 54, tied with my favorite son in law. I wore my shoes today playing with Owen and Sylvi. Shot 47, much better and closer to normal.

Had Kenzie for Memorial weekend. She didn’t want to go up north and work all weekend. She wanted to golf with Papa. Kenzie was in the lake last week, Owen, Aj and I were this Sunday, water was nice.

Late post

Sorry for missing the post this week. Couple things. Live soft-shell crabs are in as is wild sockeye salmon.

Southside slider competition is Saturday June 3rd at noon at Kitz & Pfeil on Calumet Streat. Food will be available at noon. This is a fund raiser for Children’s Hospital. We have raised almost $4000 a year the last two years. Please come and patronize the Niemuth’s Southside Market team. Wes and his kids will be cooking.

Be careful what you say around small children. We were walking Papa last night and Sylvi called her mother a turd. I am sure I will be blamed for this but it wasn’t me.

Sylvi and I got 8 holes of golf in again this week before we had to pick up Owen. 45 was a nice comeback after a 9 on number 2. (guess that was kind of a turd of a hole, but I didn’t say that) Next Monday is the family outing, should have 5 or 6 golfers plus kids.

All is good in the world again. Played golf with Sylvi this morning. Played 8 holes before we had to go pick Owen up from preschool. Shot 43 for 8 holes. Bogie, triple bogie, par, par then more golf.

AJ’s baby gate has a new mission. She has it on her porch to keep the chickens away from her plants. I told her she should have herbs on the porch to preseason the meat and eggs.

Big bike ride to Hartman’s Creek on Sunday. Kenzie, Sylvi and Owen were playing in the water at the beach. AJ hollered not to get their clothes wet. I told her that her parents would have let her play in the water at that age. That got a big laugh.
