I am 0 for 2 so far this weekend. Put the pontoon boat in Sunday night, no water pump, high temp warning. I quess being stored for 2 years will do it. No golf this morning, coarse was full, no carts left. I do have a tee time and carts reserved for Tuesday.

Carter played hockey in Alexandria MN over the weekend. They won all their games. He said the MN boys are getting tired of the Waupaca boys.

Owen and Sylvi were running around the pond on 8 today when Owen stopped because he found a frog. I told him to leave it there because Harold knows how many frogs, he has on the golf course. Shot 47 today. 3 pars only one double and one triple.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of June 12th

Mark your calendar, BBQ Club is HERE at the store this Wednesday 6-8 PM. We will be cooking lots of good stuff. $10 per person to cover food costs. Expecting at least 50 people. Weather forecast looks good.

Back from fishing in Canada last week. Terrible weather, sunny, 75-80 worst of all no wind except one day of North wind, chilly and smoke. No rain at all. Better golf weather than fishing weather. Shot 103 on 18 golfing, 53 front nine and 50 on the back. Chipped one in from 20 yards. Carter is hitting a really nice driver and even made a 15 foot putt. Ate walleye every day, brought our 12 home. A couple Northern (I get tired of cleaning them) and a 32 inch lake trout that Carter caught.

Played the Niemuth open golf Memorial day. Ten rode around the course 5 of us played. I figured out on the 7th hole why I wasn’t playing as well as I should have. I had my Crocs on instead of my shoes. Shot 54, tied with my favorite son in law. I wore my shoes today playing with Owen and Sylvi. Shot 47, much better and closer to normal.

Had Kenzie for Memorial weekend. She didn’t want to go up north and work all weekend. She wanted to golf with Papa. Kenzie was in the lake last week, Owen, Aj and I were this Sunday, water was nice.

Late post

Sorry for missing the post this week. Couple things. Live soft-shell crabs are in as is wild sockeye salmon.

Southside slider competition is Saturday June 3rd at noon at Kitz & Pfeil on Calumet Streat. Food will be available at noon. This is a fund raiser for Children’s Hospital. We have raised almost $4000 a year the last two years. Please come and patronize the Niemuth’s Southside Market team. Wes and his kids will be cooking.
