Spring is here and Carter is enthrolled with motorcycles.  He sits on AJ’s moped and makes the motocycle sounds.  I think he could go for an hour or longer if I let him. 

We took grandma (my mom) and Carter over to New London to visit the sturgeon as they were spawning.  We were trying to remember the first time she took us kids to see the sturgeon spawning.  It would have been probably 68 or 69.  Dan Folz was one of the DNR guys catching and tagging sturgeon back then.  That was the roots of today’s sturgeon management.  We did mention that the big ones were probably as old as my mom, she punched me on the arm.  Carter wasn’t too impressed.

AJ on the other hand doesn’t think spring is here.  She is in the pool for April 7th for a snow storm.  She didn’t have an over or under for 6 inches.  Blame her if we have snow on Easter.

Happy Birthday to my mother today, 84.  She cried last night when we sang happy birthday to her.

Carter and I had a busy day today.  We went for a walk then a bike ride.  After lunch we went to Tustin fishing.   He had most of the water from the minnow bucket on his shirt and pants.  No need to worry about the fish.  They are all fine, safe in the Wolf River and Lake Poygan.  We didn’t catch any fish Sunday on the Wolf or Monday on Poygan.  My brothers were teasing me about ordering more fish because I didn’t catch any.

Carter was abusing his aunt AJ on Saturday.  AJ made a chicken stuffed pasta shell thing for dinner.  Louise said this isn’t bad.  Carter said it was bad, really bad and proceeded to run around the table and couch the rest of the night saying its really bad, its really bad.

Louise also has a reallycute video of Carter making the elk call noise.  Aaron was blowing in the elk call and Carter would grab the other end and made the exact same sound.  Really cute.
