Kenzie, AJ and I were golfing this morning, my 2nd time on grass so far. Kenzie hit the ball and putted on the first 2 holes then kinda lost interest. AJ is signing up for lessons. She plays left handed and I can’t help her much except she was rocking back on her heels instead of keeping her toes down. She took one more or less than I hit on each hole and used her shoe on a couple holes.

I was working on a couple young boys on Saturday about Mother’s day and cleaning their room, breakfast in bed for mom and some other stuff. The dad said I was preaching to deaf ears. After they left the next lady in line asked if I would do the Mother’s day speech for her 19 year old daughter if she sent her in.

Carter had another good day in school today. I told him over the weekend that he should tell his teacher he needs Monday’s off the rest of the year for golfing and fishing. He told me when I picked him up today that an adult has to ask for a student to miss school. He left his back pack in my truck so Nana had to run it back to Waupaca for him.

Kenzie and Nana baked a birthday cake for me on Sunday. Kenzie always has fun playing in the “play flour” while Nana bakes. It usually ends up all over everything. She told Nana to hurry up so Papa doesn’t see the cake. She wanted it to be a surprise.

Carter had an outstanding day at School today. Thats what he told me when I picked him up after school but he was a little short on details on what makes a school day outstanding. Maybe some of you teachers out there can enlighten me. I always tease him about spending “quality” time with the Principal.

Interested in a BBQ class? My BBQ Buddy Josh Turzinski is teaching Grillin 101 at WAUPACA FVTC in Waupaca on Saturday April 9th. I have registration forms here at the store. This is his 2nd year doing the class, lots of fun last year. 21 other Classes are also offered the same day. You may sign up for up to 4 of them for $25 plus material fees if any.
