Hockey practice with Kenzie and Carter on the ice so I missed most of the 2nd half of the Packer game. Probably a good thing. Kenzie is skating without the chair this year, she bounces a lot but can chase and play tag. Carter looked a little weak legged but was skating end to end and passing the puck with the coaches after practice. Free skate after that he should be is hockey shape in no time.

Golfed with Kenzie this morning, bogie golf, should have 2 more weeks before I put the sticks away till January Golf in De Pere. Winterizing the boat and putting it away till spring also.

Store Hours are Monday – Saturday 9-9 and Sunday 10-6. Next Day closed is Thanksgiving Thursday.

Big Weekend in the Niemuth house over the weekend. Our daughter AJ is engaged to Jimmy (its about time, ask his mother.) Wedding plans will be in the works. Aaron, Becki and Glen all shot Mule Deer in Utah last week, Becki got the biggest one.

Louise and I spent the weekend in Ohio with my sister and her family. Gourmet dinner club on Saturday and Quilt show and Football hall of fame on Sunday. Beer guys know what this means.

Specials for week of October 10th

Birthday party on Sunday for Carter and Kenzie. Lots of toys and stuff, really spoiled grand children. Cater and Kenzie went golfing with me this morning. Carter insisted he was going to beat me. He played the first 3 holes to phantom scores. Didn’t play the next 3 and played 2 of the last 3 again to phantom scores. He did beat me with the numbers he did claim. He now knows that low score wins. His next golf lesson is going to be to count all the hits.

The youth deer hunt was this weekend. One of my regular deer customer’s son shot a deer. Brian says “so tell us the story.” His son says “I was sleeping in the blind” big laughs, I did that too when I was young, “the little one walked out and then the bigger one behind and dad woke me up and told me which one to shoot.” Reminds me of some of my early deer hunts.

Today is a special day in the Niemuth Household. September 26th is my mom and dad’s wedding anniversary, Kenzie’s Birthday (hence the saying we don’t negotiate with 4 year olds, terrorists or old men) and the day before Louise’s and my 36th wedding anniversary. Kenzie does get everything she wants from Papa.

I went up to Hayward Sunday to take Kenzie fishing for her birthday but weather and time put the hit on that. So Kenzie and I rode bike up and down the street for about 10 laps, Carter came out and joined us. He rode his bike into the woods also.

Hope you all enjoyed the Presidential Debate.
