Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of August 27th

THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU! What started with Maureen Wallenfang of the Post Crescent calling to see how we were doing with the road construction turned into what Mark Zuckerberg intended Facebook to be. The greatest out pouring of Community and love I have ever experienced. Thank You to everyone who came in shopping to support us as well as everyone who forwarded to their friends and family on Facebook. I had one gentleman in tonight who said his wife texted him from Europe to come in shopping. Thank You also to Channel 11 and 5 for your interviews and coverage of the construction on Oneida street. I know it has made a difference for me and I hope other businesses on South Oneida. I Thank God for all of you who have shown such great love for what my employees and I do here. I also Thank God for the great employees that stepped up big time to keep things going. I also hope it is not only me who is experiencing this love but all the other businesses on South Oneida Street and don’t forget Wendy’s, the oil change place and Kwik Trip on the South side of 441.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of August 20th

I will know Wednesday what the pour schedule will be for next week. He did encourage me to do a “post” pour party. It will be much safer than having people in the pour zone with heavy equipment and 20 dump trucks of cement moving around. Pour party will be either Tuesday or Wednesday next week, watch the blog on Niemuths.com or Niemuth’s Southside Market on Facebook. It will be worth it.

Happiest day of the year is 2 weeks away. Carter and Kenzie will be starting all day school on September 4th. I will be childless until the new baby is born in March. I told Kenzie she should hope for a boy so she is still the favorite grand daughter and Carter to hope for a girl so he is still the favorite grand son. Carter is playing a hockey tournament in Duluth this weekend. I won’t be going to this one.

If you didn’t see it the Post Crescent did an article on the road construction on South Oneida Street and Fox 11 aired some interviews also. Their support as well as yours has made a big impact on my business. God only gives us burdens that we can handle and God sends angels to help us when we need it and I got 2 angels sent to me last week who sent many more angels shopping. For that I am truly grateful, Thank You!

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of August 6th

86 Construction days left. North bound Oneida from Roeland/Valley road to Ramlin Court just north of Pizza Hut will be on the new concrete Tuesday Morning. You will have access to both of our driveways most of the time. East Calumet will be OPEN Tuesday also. Best way to get to us from the North (downtown) Memorial drive to Seymour to Oneida and down. Oneida Down from Downtown. Lawe to Calumet to Oneida and down to the store. From the South Oneida street is CLOSED between Midway and Roeland/Valley roads. East of Oneida take Telulah, Lake Park or County N to Calumet to Oneida to the store. West of Oneida take Racine Street or Appleton Road to Valley road to Oneida. We have found that coming over the bridge it is best to exit Racine Street then North till it turns into Valley road to Oneida. This avoids the roundabouts on Appleton Road which are a big headache. Thank you so much for taking the time and effort to get to us, we really appreciate it.

Weekend in Hayward with my Cousins. Lots of food, some boating and swimming and golf on Sunday morning. Carter and Kenzie stayed in Hayward because Carter has Hockey Camp the next 2 weeks in Duluth. Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of July 30th

93 days of road construction left. Good news is we should be on the new concrete Wednesday. No more bone jarring rides on Oneida Street. Bad news is Oneida street will be closed under the 441 bridge from Wednesday until early November between Roeland/Valley road and Midway Road. Watch for access signs to get into our lot while they are replacing our side of the street. Our side should be done by mid September then they will finish the middle until October 31st. We really appreciate your efforts getting to us during this construction season. Please be careful out there. Appleton Police will probably be speed checking on the new concrete. I use my Cruise control a lot in town, has saved a lot of tickets.

Left my golf clubs in Appleton so I had to play with my son’s today. He is going to need some more golf balls, I hit a few in the woods/fields. One putted 2 holes but I think I 3 putted all the rest. Carter and Kenzie got their hot dog like usual.

Mark your Calendar for Wednesday August 15th Pizza night at BBQ Club. 6-8 PM at Stoneyard in Greenville. If you have a favorite pizza you like to cook on the grill bring it out to share. If you just want to learn about cooking on the grill come on out and talk to the cooks and eat pizza with us.

Give them a break! My youngest son Scott is on the Volunteer Fire Department in Waupaca. They responded to an accident on Hwy 10 last night where one of their fire trucks was hit by another car. Two Waupaca firefighters were sent to the hospital with minor injuries, not Scotty. Please be careful out there.

Mile of Music Tip: Appleton Beer Factory has 2 flavors of brats on the menu that we make for them with their beer and hops. One is Jalapeno and Cheese. Both are very good. Tell them I sent you in, thank you, Richard.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of July 23rd

100 days till road construction is done. Sidewalks went in on the south side of Calumet today. Hopefully much more tomorrow. Switch to our side is set for August 1st. We will really need you to continue to get to us then. Access should be pretty good from the new concrete. They did a very good job of keeping open access at the Mobil Station and Ed’s boat sales while working down there.

Kenzie was stung by a bee out golfing this morning. Didn’t stop her from calling the club house from the 5th tee box and ordering hot dogs for her and Carter. Carter hit on every other hole today. We don’t count yet just mark down 10s for him. Lots of baseball and hockey in his swing but he does connect about every other one. On 3 holes they helped move the cup to the easier week day locations. Now they just need a little time on the lawn mower and they could run the whole place.

Store Hours are 9-9 Monday – Saturday and 10-6 Sunday. See you soon!
