Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of September 17th

45 construction days left. Hopefully we get our main entrance back by the weekend. Pouring at Wilson street today in preparation for the marathon this weekend. Genius running a marathon through a construction zone two years in a row. Look for traffic delays Sunday morning from 7:15 to 11:45 Jackson at Calumet, Wilson at Oneida and Valley Road at Appleton road. Kinda blocks up 3 of the 4 ways to get to us on Sunday morning.

Carter is looking for trouble, He is going to school in Waupaca and telling all his buddies how good New London Football is. His dad coaches at New London and Carter runs water and kick off tee duty for New London football games. His dad is trying to get him to “quiet” down a little. I asked Kenzie again if she was going to take Mondays off for Golf, she said “No I have to go to school.” I didn’t play today anyway, big outing. I got 9 1/2 miles on the bike this morning.

Just outside watching the wind, rain and lightning and most of the barricades are blown away. Saw a car almost taken out by 2 of them.

Waupaca Sweet Corn and Tomatoes back after noon this Thursday.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of September 10th

E-mail should be fixed. We went over our limit on people who signed up to receive this e-mail and instead of sending the limit Mail Chimp stopped them all together without notifying us. Nothing more money won’t fix, and hopefully it has if you are reading this.

Kenzie promised me she would tell her Kindergarten teacher she needed Mondays off from school to go golfing with Papa. So far no go. Busy day at the golf course today. Shot 57, to many 3 putts on tough pin placements. Carter is playing center for his Pop Warner football team. I told him its because they need the smartest kid at center, one that can remember the snap count. His dad said it was because he is the biggest boy on the team. He usually is not the biggest at hockey, there he usually plays up an age bracket.

Concrete news: More pouring on Wednesday, middle of the street by our main entrance and the sidewalk and apron will also be poured. About a week curing time before we get it back. Use the “smaller” new north entrance for now. We appreciate your efforts to get to us during this construction project. Good News only 51 more days to go. More Good News, Calumet and Oneida street south of Calumet should be open “finished” in 3 or 4 weeks. 441 project under the bridge won’t be done until early November.

No Waupaca Sweet corn this week. Annual Farm meeting. More corn next week Sept 20th.
