Hello Hockey Fans! Another big weekend of hockey for Carter and Kenzie. Kenzie Played a bunch of 15 minute games on Saturday while Carter refereed. I got to see a couple before I went to Central Waters anniversary party. Carter played a couple in Merrill on Sunday. Owen is working off a little cold but still makes a bee line for the steps. His dad had Sunday step duty I had Monday. He also tipped over a plant and the humidifier. AJ called and asked why he was still in his jammies when she got home from work. Because he slept from 11 to 1:30 and I forgot the diaper bag when I dropped him off at his favorite Aunt Becky’s house, so no dress up today.

Happy Birthday to AJ. This is my daughter who several years ago was choosing her then boyfriend now husband over going to a hockey game with her dad. There were several customers in the store when I said into the phone “you are choosing your boyfriend over your dad” to a bunch of smiles. Then she said why don’t you tell them I am 30 too?

Owen was fussy and didn’t sleep over the weekend. I told AJ I would fix that. He slept about 5 hours this morning while I had him. Probably won’t sleep tonight.

Carter had several hockey games over the weekend. He scored a goal in the one I got to see. Need to work on Kenzie’s teasing her dad. I peeled some oranges at the hockey game and tried to give 1/2 of one to Kenzie to take a bite out of before giving it to her dad. Kenzie tax. Her dad always takes a bite out of her toast as a “dad tax”.

Last Monday of the Year. Owen had a great Christmas, lots of boxes and paper to play with and some toys too. Scooter’s bear hunt lost in the woods story was recounted for the second year. Several hands of cribbage were played. Had to work with the college girls on counting.

Carter and Kenzie played lots of hockey including Medford on Sunday Morning and Janesville for family Christmas in the afternoon. We won’t be able to get those two lost in Wisconsin.

Yes, one more week till Christmas. Most of the miracles will be preformed by Thursday for Friday delivery. I will have some Christmas Eve deliveries but if they are out it doesn’t matter.

Owen has a tooth already, 9 months old. He was pretty crabby last week when it was coming through, much better today.

Carter and Kenzie sang in Church on Sunday then rushed to the rink for a couple shifts in the 11 o’clock game. I went to the 2 o’clock game, he is really skating well, but needs to pass the puck sometimes.
