Carter and Kenzie have 15 chickens. They are not allowed to name them because then they won’t eat them. Nana said they all look the same, how would you tell them apart to name them? I said you could paint their toe nails and was promptly told not to ever say that outloud again especially in front of Kenzie. The kids were up north over the weekend and Scotty and Bridget were on Chicken detail. Bridget decided they should be let out to run and they did. Sister in law and family and Scotty and Bridget had to catch them and put them back in the coop. Think Rocky.
I tried to read Owen a story on Sunday but couldn’t compete with running water in the sink. He almost has his garden planted with only a little dirt brought into the house. He is going to be a bird guy, loves watching the birds on the feeders. Can’t wait for him to try to catch one on the ground.
