Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of June 25th

I had a very nice round of golf this morning, one putted 8 holes and 2 putted 1 and played the woods and tall grass inbetween putts for a 47.  John was a little behind that today.  Carter is working on his golf etiquette.   He picks up all the broken tees on the tee boxes then stands back quitely while we hit.  His standard answer every time I ask him how many times has Papa hit the ball is 2.  John doesn’t like that answer much.  He even found 2 balls in the tall grass today.

AJ took the dog swimming one day last week when it was too hot to run.  As she was getting back to the dock she felt something on her leg that she thought was a weed.  She got on the dock and looked in the water and saw a large snapping turtle where she was swimming.  I told her I knew a couple guys that would make turtle soup for her if she caught it.  She has since posted a turtle soup recipe on the dock to warn the turtle away.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of June 11th

Happy Fathers Day next Sunday.

T Mack Smoking BBQ will be in the parking lot this Thursday June 14th from 4 to 7 pm serving pulled pork, Chicken legs and

Brat Fry in our parking lot on Saturday June 16th.  Let me know if you are interested in doing a brat fry.  I have one booked every weekend until mid July now.

So much news.  Fishing in Canada last week was a little tougher than normal.  Brought home 14 of 16 walleyes and ate walleye every day but the little ones were hard to come by.  We could only clean and take home walleye under 18 inches.  Needed 5 on Thursday morning to bring home.  Caught 5 walleye but only one was under 20 inches, the rest were 20 to 25 inches.  My biggest was 28 inches.  You know its bad when you have to run to town for suntan lotion not bait.  It was mid 80s and sunny, no wind all week so yes fishing was tough.

Carter had a little adventure on the golf course this morning.  John and I were putting on number 6 when Carter got back in the cart and stepped on the gas.  He wasn’t hurt and nothing was damaged except he scared himself pretty good.  Needless to say we were extra careful after that to turn it off and put it in neutral.  John was pretty confident, he played 3 times last week while I was in Canada.  I won, he had one bad hole with the woods and water.

Fresh seafood for Tuesday will be Mahi Mahi.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Atlantic Cod, Flounder and Scottish Salmon steaks, I ordered a whole salmon.

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Atlantic Grouper, Walleye and Tuna I think.  I have my list at home, I ordered at breakfast last Thursday in Canada.  Did I tell you the cell phone works better in Canada than here in Wisconsin.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Snapper, 2 kinds of salmon, Wild Gulf Shrimp, U 10 scallops (the big ones), Mussels, Fresh Calimari because I screwed it up last week and probably something else.

Order live lobster, live oysters and live clams by 4 pm tuesday for Wednesday and 4 pm Thursday for Friday.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of June 4th

The boys made it to Canada all safe and sound.  Richard finally decided to catch some fish today instead of making everybody else feed him.   They caught a couple of bigger ones to bring home and have had plenty to eat.  Now for the cute Carter story.  My brother got married over the weekend, Carter’s first wedding.  He went out on the dance floor to watch a little girl who was just jiggin out there.. then he started stamping his feet, then jumping and wiggling his little butt and then he would run and run and run.  Wore most of the adults out just watching him.  He was so cute.  He also impressed my aunts with how clear he talked and what he could say.  He would run up to my mom and say Hi Grandma Batten!  And he said that Daddy and Papa were in Canada but they didn’t catch any fish!

Halibut story and Calimari

Sorry for the extra e-mail but tomorrow’s Halibut is not going to be halibut.  I could only get little ones (10 – 20 pounders) so I opted for Blue Fin Tuna and Atlantic Grouper instead.  I will try for Halibut again next Thursday or Friday.

I also just had a guy in asking for Fresh Calimari for next week Friday June 8th.  We took the order but need to sell at least 5 more pounds to get it in.  Price will be 7.99 per pound.  orders appreciated at 734 4905.  This is for NEXT Friday June 8th.

Thank you, Richard.
