Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of December 9th

Carter is practicing his Christmas program songs.  As far as I can tell he is singing Away in the stable and Quiet Night.  His mom and Aunt AJ (Sunday school teacher) mix up the words so they know he really knows the real words.  Thats a trick I used to do on my own kids when they were young.  They hated it, especially spelling, every other letter.

Kenzie needs to start talking pretty soon.  She has the facial expressions, the furrowed eye brow she uses on me, she learned that from Nanah, the smile and eye twinkle just before she does something naughty, she learned that one from me.  AJ was a late talker because her brother could talk for her but once she got going watch out, AJ stood for always jabbering.  Kenzie seems to be on the same path, cute but quiet.

Christmas is now 2 weeks away.  Don’t want to panic anyone but but Waupaca Ham cut off is coming up probably this Sunday or Monday.  I need rib roast orders, fresh turkey (one size sold out so far), shucked and live oysters, live lobster, crown roast, whole or sides of smoked salmon, caviar or any other speciality item you may want for Chirstmas.  Call 734 4905 to order or stop in and discuss your menu needs.

Big weekend news @ Niemuth’s

Sunday Jambalaya Rod will be serving Hot Jambalaya, Gumbo and Crawfish etufe in our parking lot about 10:30 til gone.

Monday Dogfish Head Brewing will be returning to Wisconsin.  I have 2 cases of 90 minute IPA and 1 case each of about 12 other flavors of 4 paks and 750mls coming in.

Specials for week of December 2nd

Yes, only 3 weeks till Christmas.  Ready, set, GO!

My daughter AJ has a spinach and mushroom  beef tenderloin recipe she wants to do for Christmas Dinner.   My mission this week is to take a small peice of tenderloin over to her to practice on to see if it is good enough.  I will keep you posted.

Nana asked Carter to help her decorate the Christmas tree on Sunday.  He said “I’ll need some more information.”  She asked what else he needed to konw.  He said “I’ll let you know when I think of it.”  He sings a pretty mean Rudolf the red nosed Reindeer also.

Kenzie was offered a pair of ice skates last week at Carter’s hockey practice.  She wanted to skate but mom and dad didn’t let her.  Soon enough she will be knocking Carter down to size.  The lake is frozen over so I am sure they will be skating next weekend.  The ice fishermen were walking across last weekend.

Happy Thanksgiving!  The Niemuth family has many things to be thankful for again this year both in business and personal life.  In order to celebrate Thanksgiving the store is CLOSED Thursday November 28th and will reopen Friday at 9 am for our 4th annual Black Friday sale.

What a great week this is, Deer season opens this weekend, Thanksgiving  next week (one of the 3 days each year that we are closed) and Black Friday (don’t bother getting up early we open at 9.)wine and food specials.
