Happy Thanksgiving!  The Niemuth family has many things to be thankful for again this year both in business and personal life.  In order to celebrate Thanksgiving the store is CLOSED Thursday November 28th and will reopen Friday at 9 am for our 4th annual Black Friday sale. 

Carter Kenzie and I will be decorating Christmas Tree on Friday.  I’m sure they will be a big help on the stairs trying to reach the top of a 12 foot tree.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of November 18th

What a great week this is, Deer season opens this weekend, Thanksgiving  next week (one of the 3 days each year that we are closed) and Black Friday (don’t bother getting up early we open at 9.)wine and food specials.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of November 11th

Thank you Veterans for your service to our country.  Without you none of this is possible.

Becky sent a picture of her and an elk.  I always tell everyone if you want to fill the freezer send Becky, the boys will always wait for a bigger one and come home empty handed.  Nothing like waiting until the last minute, they are supposed to come home on Wed or Thursday.

Louise went to Hockey practice with Carter, Kenzie (she is not skating yet) and Bella.  Carter has a skating buddy and they bump into each other and knock each other down.  Louise says it is pretty funny.

Wish Louise a happy birthday if you see her. 

Niemuth’s Southside Market is closed on Thanksgiving Thursday, plan accordingly.  Black Friday sale on Friday, watch for details.

Fresh turkeys are selling fast.  24 pounders sold out and 14-16 and 16 -18 both close to sold out.  We have also taken a larger than normal number of orders for Ham, Crown roast, Goose, Duck and rib roast for Thanksgiving this year.  Call 734 4905 to order or stop in.  I was also thinking about a case of FRESH cornish game hens, let me know if you are interested.

Venison processing available.  Bring in your whole deer or trim for hamburger or sausage.  We have a “your own meat ” option for your venison sausage.  Stop in for details.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of November 4th

Carter is learning some Russian words in pre school.  Every once in a while he spits one out and we have to ask him what it means.  So far no naughty words.  Carter started hockey last week.  Bella, Becki’s mom is babysitting while Aaron and Becki are out west elk hunting.  She bought insulated pants because it is a little “chilly” watching practice.  Kenzie isn’t any help either, she takes off running while Bella is trying to tie skates and helmet Carter.

Got my first Valentine’s day and Easter candy catolog in the mail the day before Halloween.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of October 28th

Kenzie was the cute one carving pumpkins over the weekend.  Louise and I were in Ohio over the weekend, took mom to see my sister and her family.  Only pictures we got were Kenzie.  Apparently Carter’s cuteness has worn off.  Made some pork, beef and chicken BBQ for my sister as well as a slab of bacon.  She complains about not being able to get good bacon in Ohio so I showed her how easy it was to make it herself.

Nice trip across Indiana and Ohio.  Some Color in Indiamapolis and Columbus but best just south of Chicago.  Lots of corn and soybeans to be harvested yet, saw one pile on the ground outside an elevator.  Some combines working today but didn’t see any last Friday.

I am picking up another bushel of winter squash from the farm in Waupaca on Thursday.  Sweet potatoes will be in on Wednesday.
