Sad news in the Niemuth family again. After 67 years of service to the Waupaca Community the butcher shop that my mom and dad started will be closing on Monday May 5th. Niemuth’s Steak and Chop Shop has been a treasured part of Waupaca even if it was a little hard to find on the North side of town. I am not able to take it over due to many factors, age, health, Louise’s passing among others. We are a separate business here in Appleton and WILL NOT BE CLOSING. We have been working with an Amish kitchen to make potato salad for us. It is a very similar recipe and will be a great option to replace the Waupaca potato salad. Amish planted and harvested potatoes and onions, local Amish free-range eggs and the mayo is made with real sugar instead of high fructose corn syrup. Those who have tasted it say it is very similar to Waupaca potato salad.
Thank you for your patience as we work through having our big bunker cooler out of commission. If you can’t find something you would normally buy from there please ask. We are happy to show you where to find things.
