Kenzie is going big time on a peddle bike, riding out to the highway and back numerous times, about a 1/4 mile. She didn’t take to the balance bike like Carter did, she went right to peddles, no training wheels. Aaron, her dad got his bear, just a small one. He wasn’t in the tree in the rain when the big one came in. I always told him you can’t shoot the big one from the couch.

Carter is in school, playing soccer and football and can’t wait for hockey season.

I played better golf today, 50. Coarse was kinda wet, had the ball plug in the mud a couple times.

Kenzie went to daycare/preschool today. She fought it every step of the way. Louise finally pointed out another little girl that was wearing a mini mouse shirt and that helped a little. The poor teacher having to handle those spoiled Niemuth Grandchildren.

Played 2 rounds of golf on Monday, morning with my sister Janet and afternoon with my son Scott, brother in law Tom and Nephew John. 51 in the morning, 58 in the afternoon.

Grandpa John raises Draft Horses and pulls with them at county fairs. He was helping a friend with his horses at Iron Mountain over the weekend so Carter and Kenzie and family went to the fair. Kenzie and Carter competed in a peddle tractor pull and Kenzie took 3rd place for her age group. Carter took 1st place for his age group. They didn’t tell me how Grandpa John’s friend did in his horse pull.

Went to Big Top Chautauqua last night. Saw the Willis Clan in their last US appearance for a while. They flew to Ireland today for a tour. The Big Top was a lot of fun, not a lot of walking from the parking lot, lots of rest rooms, food and drink and a really good show. And only 5 1/2 hours up to Bayfield. Had Lake Superior Whitefish at Good Thyme Restaurant in Washburn on the way up.

Stayed over night at Aaron and Becky’s in Hayward last night. Bella was there also with her dog Emmett. Emmett was digging and I called him Emmett Robert as he was being put in his kennel for being naughty. Carter Robert wasn’t real pleased with that. His mom must call him Carter Robert when he is naughty too.

Carter is in Hockey Camp in Duluth this week. He was really excited to put the skates on again. Kenzie is babysitting Nana till September when they can get her back into daycare. One more year till she starts school. Where does the time go?
