Golfing today with AJ, my daughter, not the grandkids mother, Carter and Kenzie. First hole AJ hits 2 really nice shots and is on the green. Carter sinks a 25 foot putt. Fourth Hole AJ hits her 2nd shot over the pond and onto the green. Fifth hole AJ chips into the hole from about 30 yards out. Carter and Kenzie fight over who gets to ring the bell on 9. I shot 49. Normal day of golf. They went swimming to cool off after golf.

Fresh seafood for Tuesday NONE. Sorry the sales rep left the company and I may not have any Tuesday fish until I get a replacement trained.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of July 4th

Sorry for being offline for a couple weeks. I got a new computer and of coarse lost all the remembered login passwords.

Carter made his first trip to Canada fishing with us this year. 6 years old and fished all day with us. He was a hero early on when I was fixing his pole for him and he grabbed mine as it was going over the side of the boat pulled by a 25 inch walleye that he reeled in by himself. He also jumped off the roof of the boathouse, about 12 feet up from 66 degree water. His dad never did that in 21 trips.

Strategies BBQ team is cooking Pulled Pork and Beef Brisket on Friday July 8th to raise money for the American Legion Veterans Camp on Lake Tomahawk. 100% of money raised goes to the camp. Sandwiches will be served in our parking lot from 11 Am til 7 PM or when gone. Stop by early or call your orders in to 920 734 4905

Unfortunetely for those who may have been looking foward to an entertaining ancedote invloving Richard’s grandchildren, I, David, am unable to provide you with the previosuly mentioned. Tune in next week!!!
As stated my name is David, although no official title is bestowed, it is my great pleasure to provide you with an ever growing variety of fresh and smoked sausage items, along with other delicious offerings that come right from our own smokehouse. Closely monitoring each item that goes through the smokehouse, with a hobby turned career, I will give you the best I’ve got each and every time. It’s always fun to answer questions and help people be successfull at home with making their own sausage and smoking and curing their own meats. Its never a problem to step out and answer any questions you may have regarding our products, or your own charcuterie adventures!

Let’s NOT forget Father’s Day coming up this weekend. Being dubbed by some as the eh hem…”man candy” store, what a better place to come to make it a good weekend. Unsure what hunk of protein Dad may want on the grill? Two words….Gift Certificate. (of course the Cowboy Cut Bone-In Rib-Eye isn’t a bad backup plan either.)

We can bring those to you twice a week Wednesdays and Fridays. We just ask you let us know by 4:00 P.M. the day before the previously mentioned. If it swims,crawls,scoots,or just sticks to something in the ocean, we can probably get it, depending on availability.

As far as new beers and wines, my gosh just come in a check it out. Always new and interesting beers and other libations show up here every week. Quite honestly I dont know how Richard keeps up with it all.
A good one we just sampled last week and brought in is Buckshot Peppered Maple Bourbon Whiskey. Very tastey with a good whiskey bite. I myself am waiting on the Fulton Brewing Batch 300 IPA. I keep hearing these tales of cases in the warehouse and wondering why they are not here. For those IPA enthusiasts or even if you are not this is a good one to just try. Made with %100 Mosaic Hops, this beer is very complex and has wonderful fruity and citrus tones that change and dance around on your palate. It’s fun. Hold’s a first place title, I would have to concur.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of June 6th

Carter was hitting the golf ball better today, his first Monday golf game with Papa this year. I still had him move his ball up to where mine was to hit his next shot. He starts golf lessons tomorrow. We will be golfing in Canada again this year.

Went for a walk with Kenzie and Carter after golf this morning. Kenzie was on her strider bike but hasn’t quite got the idea down. She walks the bike instead of gliding along. Should come soon enough, she did coast down hill a little bit but unlike Carter she doesn’t embrace the speed.

Bar B Que Club is at Niemuth’s Southside Market this Wednesday night 6-8 pm. We are cooking and sampling steak and seafood amongst other things. Cost is $10 per person to cover meat expense. Appreciate letting me know if you are coming so we can plan food or Just stop by and talk Backyard BBQ with a lot of people.

Memorial Day, a time to remember those who have served and those who have given all for our freedom. Especially pray for the families of those who died in service of our country for they have truly given their best for us.

No Carter and Kenzie this weekend. Becki accepted a management job in Duluth. They bought a house in Hayward and will be moving up there soon. Closed on Thursday and spent the holiday weekend in Hayward. Carter and Aaron did go fishing. I told Carter to get the skunk off his dad before we go to Canada fishing. Aaron is good at coming back with no fish, claiming they were all too big.
