Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of January 29th

Super Game Sunday is upon us. Who do you want to win?

Kenzie was “teaching school” to me and Nana on the way back to Appleton from Waupaca today. “I didn’t want to raise my voice today” she would say when we didn’t answer her questions properly.

Carter is playing Hockey at the Tri County Ice arena next Saturday. I will be there to catch it. It will determine who goes to state. He scored a goal this week and didn’t have any penalties. Lots of good body work also. He is 8 and has been playing up with the 10 year olds and holding his own.

Pitchers and catchers report in 2 weeks and five of us played golf last Wednesday. Spring is almost here! One new guy, it was a real hoot just like always. Finished 18 holes in 3 1/2 hours. I shot 84, 10 strokes better and Ken shot 83, 4 strokes better. He will be playing the coarse for real in California in February. I may need a volunteer to replace him in February. It really isn’t as much fun on nice weather days as it is when it is snowing and blowing outside.

Store Hours are Monday – Saturday 9-9 and Sunday 10-6. Call 920 734 4905 with questions or orders.

B&E’s Bourbon Barrel aged Maple Syrup is now available in 2 sizes Pints and 1/2 pints. Watch for them on Public Television on February 8th. Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of January 22nd

Played 18 last Wednesday. I shot 94, Ken shot 87 on a desert coarse in California that Ken is going to try to play when he goes out there in a couple weeks. The other 2 didn’t make it. Something about work ya da ya da.

Kenzie had a hockey tournament in Tomahawk on Saturday. She wasn’t figure skating but she wasn’t paying attention to what she should be doing. Her mother told her “no Culver’s if you don’t start playing better” and Coach Eric said if they didn’t play they were going to be benched for next week’s tournament where they would be getting trophies. She probably played her best game ever… the little squirt! It was a camp out at Aunt Janet’s in Tomahawk on Friday night then they took Nana up to Iron Mountain after hockey and stayed over night at Aunt Marie’s before coming home for Carter’s 5 PM game in Waupaca. He only played one game because he was in Kansas pheasant hunting with his dad and uncle and the dogs.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of January 15th

Happy MLK Day.

Carter played 2 full ice tournaments last weekend, Marshfield and Waupaca. I was at the 5 PM game 3 for the day in Waupaca where he got his first penalty for tripping. His Aunt and Uncles were pretty pumped about him getting in there and mixing it up with the 10 year olds, Carter is 8. They lost that game 5-0. They were doing better Sunday morning but I think they ran out of gas. Sunday’s first game they were up 3-0 but lost 4-3. Didn’t hear a score on the 2nd game.

Kenzie spent a “sewing” weekend in Florence WI with Nana and Aunt Marie. She was plenty entertaining barking at squirrels on the bird feeders and settling arguments over what kind of wood pecker it was. Several sewing projects were completed also. I went up on Sunday and brought Kenzie and Nana home today.

B&E’s Trees is being featured on an upcoming episode of Around The Corner with John McGivern. The episode will air February 8th. I have about 10 pints left but can get more. Stop in the Store to reserve pints, half pints or 4.5 ouncers. I need the orders by January 23rd so I can pick them up on the 27th at the Central Waters 20th Anniversary party. Order by phone 920 734 4905.

I asked B&E how I did with 17 vintage reservations. They said I tied for 2nd with some craft beer store in Illinois but only a few behind a La Crosse store in their back yard. This year we need to beat both of those stores. Watch for 18 vintage reservation information.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Ora King Salmon, Canadian Perch and Live Oysters.
Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Canadian Northern Pike and Walleye.
