Events and Specials @ Niemuth for week of October 15th

Carter and Nanah made cookies for Carter to take up north this week.  Carter and his dad sent a picture of Aaron holding a musky today.  Hopefully we will get more pictures the rest of the week.

Saturday the 20th we will have BBQ ribs, chicken and pulled pork available in the parking lot from 10 – 2.  Fox River BBQ and TMack Smoking will be here selling whole and 1/2 racks of  back ribs, pulled pork sandwiches, chicken leg quarters and Tom’s 6th place Wilber beans.  TMack Smoking participated in the American Royal Open BBQ competition 2 weeks ago in Kansas City.  His best finish in meats was 159th out of 600 for Beef Brisket.  He finished 2nd overall in desert and 6th overall for beans.  Stop in and pick up some award winning BBQ this Saturday.

Cub Scout Troop 3127 will be selling popcorn this Saturday the 20th from 11 – 2 in Niemuth’s parking lot.  Please stop by and purchase some popcorn.  This is the pack’s main fund raiser.  Money raised is used for pack activities including winter and summer camps.

Inside the store this Saturday the 20th we will be sampling seafood and wine from 2 – 6 pm.  Stop in for some free samples.  If you taste something  you like use our layaway program to stock up for the holidays.

Live lobsters are still cheap for the middle of Wisconsin.  I have a price commitment for the next 2 weekends (Oct 19th and 26th) delivery.  1 1/4 pounders are 9.99 lb, 1 1/2 pounders are 11.99 lb, 2 and 3 pounders are 12.99 lb.  Call me at 734 4905 to order yours.

Fresh Seafood for Friday will be Snapper, Wild King Salmon, Scottish Salmon, Wild Gulf Shrimp, and Wild Atlantic Haddock.

Order live lobster (see above) Clams and Oysters by 4 pm Tuesday for Wednesday and 4 pm Thursday for Friday delivery.

Brat Flavors will be Bourbon Onion and plain in pork.  Jalapeno Ranch and cheese in Chicken.

This Weekend @ Niemuth’s

Stop in Early Sunday Morning for hot Jambalaya, Gator Brats or Niemuth’s brats off the grill with Jambalaya Rod.  He will be serving from10 – 2 Sunday Morning.

Baby and Carter withdrawals this weekend.  They were gone visiting family in Janesville.

Fresh seafood for Tuesday will be Mahi Mahi.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Halibut Cheeks, Smelt and Atlantic Cod.

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Chilean Sea Bass, Wild Coho Salmon and Canadian Walleye.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Pacific Grouper, Wild Coho and Scottish Salmon, Canadian Perch, Iceland Haddock and Canadian Swordfish. 

Order live lobster, clams and oysters by 4 pm Tuesday for Wednesday and 4 pm Thursday for Friday.  The clams we got in last week were harvested on Monday and arrived in Appleton on Wednesday.  3 days from the ocean to Appleton!

Sat and Sunday @ Niemuth’s

Saturday 10 – 2 our local BBQ competiton team Fox River BBQ will be in my parking lot selling pulled pork sandwiches, 1/2 or whole rackes of baby back ribs, chicken, shrimp skewers and maybe some other stuff.  Stop by and pick up a rack of ribs for dinner.

Sunday Tony will be sampling wine and seafood creations inside the store from 3 – 6 pm after the Packer game.  Stop by for some dinner ideas after the game.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of October 1st

My new grand daughter Kenzie Marie Niemuth was born on Wednesday September 26th.  7 pounds 2 oz, 20.5 inches.  September 26th would have been my mom and dad’s 54th wedding anniversary.  So far Carter is happy to have a baby sister.

Great week to take a road trip and enjoy the fall leaf colors.  Maple and aspen are full color around Waupaca with the oaks very close.

Cook with Fox River BBQ competition team on Saturday Oct 6th.  Call me to sign up for rib class this Saturday.  We will be cooking ribs, chicken and other stuff as well as offering wine pairings.  Class cost is $35.00 and you take home a seasoned rib to cook.  If you just want to enjoy some pulled pork sandwiches or BBQ ribs we will be serving them in the parking lot from 10 – 2 on Saturday.  734 4905 to reserve your spot.

I am working on a holiday layaway program.  Call me if you have items that you would like to put on layaway.  I am thinking lobster, crab, shrimp and scallops.  Rib Roast, dry aged and prime steaks.  1/2 cases or cases of wine and liquor and speciality beers.  Gift Certificates also.  Call me with your suggestions.

My sister Janet who moved back from Anchorage Alaska last month started her new job today with the same company in Chicago.  Hopefully she doesn’t become a Bears fan.

Carter’s baby sister should be here by the end of the week.  Stop in this weekend to see pictures of the proud papa and his two grandchildren.

Saturday Oct 6th we will have our rib school and other stuff in the parking lot at the store.  Cook with BBQ competition cooks Todd and Jon from Fox River BBQ competition team.  Cost is $35.00 includes a seasoned back rib to take home.  Call 734 4905 or stop in to sign up.

If you only want to eat some BBQ stop by 10 – 2  on Sat Oct 6th for a pulled pork sandwich or rack of ribs served hot off the grill.
