The lake in Waupaca is freezing over but this time not as smooth as the first time.  Might be a challenge for ice skating.  Good thing I don’t ice skate with my new knees.  Carter should be skating by himself shortly.  He is taking the cone all around the rink at hockey practice. 

Carter was upset that Nana’s ‘Tristmas’ tree angel has lights and his didn’t.  He wanted to trade.  Then he started to insist that we trade.  I said it was up too high on the tree.  He asked me how the angel got on top of the tree.  I didn’t tell him, figured it would be better to wait til he is a lot older.

Order live lobster, oysters and Clams for Christmas ASAP.  Also Christmas and New Years hams, rib roasts and shucked oysters.

Fresh seafood for Tuesday will be Mahi Mahi.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Atlantic Sole and Haddock.

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Chilean Sea Bass and u 10 dry pack scallops.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Snapper, Wild Sockeye and Farm Scottish Salmon, Wild Gulf Shrimp and Perch.  I am planning on Tuna and Halibut next week for Christmas.

Brat Flavors will be Christmas Kielbasa and Plain in Pork and Tomato basil parmesan in Chicken.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of December 3rd

Kenzie loves her papa enough to sleep most of the time I am babysitting her.  Carter on the other hand emptied the tolet paper roll, spilled water and yogurt on the floor and watched the movie Cars twice while trying to wake his sister up.

Carter did help put the Christmas tree up in his house.  Now he wants to trade angels with nah nah because her’s is lighted and Carter’s isn’t.

Holiday open house this Saturday 10 – 2.  T Mack Smokin will be cooking Stockyards Dry Aged and Regular prime rib in the parking lot as well as clams, oysters, mussels, shrimp and scallops.  Probably a few other things.  Because of the quality of the samples we will be charging $1 per sample to cover the cost.  Stop by and talk to the cook, try some samples and place your Christmas and New Years orders.

Jambalaya in the parking lot Saturday

Jambalaya Rod will be cooking in the parking lot on Saturday before the Badger game, full menue from 10 – 4 or when its gone.  Maybe one more time before Christmas but this maight be the last time this year.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of November 26th

First day of Papa baby sitting Carter and Kenzie.  Kenzie is just like Carter, she goes to sleep if you sing Rudolf the red nosed Reindeer to her.  Easy day, the kids showed up late and got dropped off early because I had to work at 3 today.

Carter’s ice skating if very much improved.  He was on the ice for 2 hours with my brothers kids and didn’t want to stop.

Christmas orders are starting to come in.  Please call me with your special requests ASAP.  Rib Roast, tenderloins, shrimp, scallops or other seafood special requests.  We will have Fresh Turkeys for Christmas as well as frozen quail, pheasant, duck and goose.  Please order whole or boneless sides of smoked salmon and whitefish now for Christmas and New Years.  I will also have prime rib eyes, NY Strip and tenderloin available. 

*Stockyards Dry Aged Beef must be ordered by December 7th to guarantee delivery for Christmas and December 14 for New Years Eve Delivery.*

 Goobble Goobble Thanksgiving week is here.  Looks like Louise may dodge the 30 pounder again this year because we are mostly sold out of Fresh Turkeys.  I have a box of 4 10 – 12s coming in tomorrow and 2 of those are sold already.   Only 2 left to sell. 

Louise was up north with the church ladies again this year for opening weekend of deer season.  She bagged 5 craft projects opening weekend with 3 completed on Friday Night.  I don’t think Louise and the church ladies get the meaning of “Deer Camp.”

Carter and Kensie spent deer camp with aunt Billie and Morgan.  Carter liked the fire truck at the Children’s Museum.  Kensie is growing like a weed.  The adventures of Papa babysitting begin next Monday.  We are also looking at a round of golf on Thursday.  I have to call Harold to see if anyone will be sitting in the deer stands on holes 2, 5 and 8.

Jambalaya @ Niemuth’s Saturday and Wednesday

Jambalaya House, also known as Rod, will be in Niemuth’s Southside Saturday November 17th from 10 – 4 and Wednesday November 21 from 10 – 4.  Stop by for your Jambalaya fix.
