Carter and Aaron went ice fishing on Saturday afternoon.  They only caught a few little perch and bluegill before Carter stuck his foot in the hole and got a wet boot.  Needless to say they were home early.  Aaron did the same thing on the same lake when he was 3 or 4.

Order live lobster for Valentine’s day by 4 pm Tuesday for Thursday and 4 pm Thursday for Friday.  734 4905

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Perch, Cod and Ora King Salmon.

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Halibut, Door County Whitefish, Sturgeon and Walleye.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Pacific Grouper, Scottish Salmon, Wild Gulf Shrimp, Tuna, Perch, Haddock (I ordered 40 pounds so we won’t run out) and Mahi Mahi.  I also have a special order for fresh black Cod from Alaska.  Call me if you would like me to add some on for you, 734 4905.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of February 4th

February!  The Super Bowl is done and what a finish.  Pitchers and catchers report next week.  Sturgeon spearing starts Saturday and I’ll have fresh sturgeon on Thursday, don’t tell the fishermen or dnr.  Mardi Gra is this weekend also.  Order your live clams, oysters and mussels by Thursday for the weekend.  Sorry I missed Ground Hog Day last week, I owe you one.

Carter started 3 year old pre school in January.  He has missed about 1/2 the classes because he has been sick.  As I remember that is how it is when you send a kid to school.   Now his aunt AJ is mad at him for making her sick.  Sniffles are going around the Niemuth’s in Waupaca.

Just had a gentleman in the store that had the lasagna for dinner tonight.  Loved it, said it was better than he expected.  Tyler will have to make a bigger batch next time, sold out before 4 pm.

Schedule change and new menu items

Jambalaya house will be here in the parking lot on SUNDAY serving hot from 11 til gone.

Menu is expanded for the big game.  Jambalaya, Gumbo, gator sausage on a stick, gator wraps and Jamburritos.  Gator will be cooked as ordered, takes about 5 minutes so order before you come in the store shopping.

Stop in any time on Friday, Saturday or Sunday for your big game party supplies.

Specials for week of January 28th

Aaron and Carter were out on the lake ice fishing when I got to Waupaca Sunday afternoon.  Louise was holding Kenzie trying to get her to go to sleep.  I looked at  Kenzie she made the most awful face and started crying so I went out to see how fishing was.  I skimmed out a hole to fish with the boys.  When Carter figured out what the skimmer was for he started to play with it in his hole.  Pretty soon Aaron said “there it went” as the skimmer went to the bottom.  We both knew it was bound to happen and laughed about it.  Carter felt bad.  Aaron could see it on the camera but couldn’t get the magnet near it.  Guess we will be diving for it this summer, the point is marked on the GPS.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Ora King Salmon (still needs to be confirmed, see last weeks post for info on Ora King) and Flounder and Peek y toe Crab meat.

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Chilean Sea Bass and Walleye.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Pacific Grouper, Scottish Salmon, Tuna, Halibut, Haddock (several nice phone calls last Friday about how good the haddock was) Wild Gulf Shrimp, PEI Mussels, Smelt and another gallon of Diver Scallops and any thing else you might request for Super Sunday Weekend.

You can order live lobsters too.
