Basketball is over in the Niemuth household.  I have Kentucky in the championship game but not winning so its over.  I’ll claim the bracket win just because I had 2 of the final 4 teams and one of the championship teams.  No one else seems interested in adding them up to see who won.

My brother Bobby was out to the lake with his son Cameron on Sunday.  They went down by the dock with Carter.  Bobby put his foot on the ice to test it and fell in.  He is officially the first in the lake for 2014.  He said the water wasn’t that cold.  Hopefully the boys learned something from that.

Kenzie and I were walking this morning when it began to mist.  We were on the north end of the lake a long way from home and then the school bus went by and I was afraid we were late for picking up Carter at pre school.  We hurried home and made it in time to pick up Carter, just a little damp from the walk.

We went for a walk around the lake on Sunday and Monday.  Kenzie walked about a 1/4 mile of the 4 miles on Sunday and about a 1/2 mile of the 2 miles this morning.  We picked up 37 aluminum cans on Sunday’s walk to fund Kenzie’s college fund.  I forgot to tell AJ her dog was rolling in some stuff a couple times.

First the good news, 2 robins joined us for dinner last night, well they were outside looking in, not really at the table.  Spring is here!

My daughter AJ is concerned about me getting my bracket filled in.  Seems there was a little misunderstanding last year over actual completion time and date.  The picks were all made, I just wasn’t able to write them down while I was driving.  I guess I have to turn it in to her Wednesday night.

Speaking  of Wednesday that is my mother’s birthday.  Her age involves an 8 and a 6.  I”ll let you figure out which order they go in.  Any of you in Waupaca wish her a happy birthday on Wednesday.

Kenzie was the cute one this week.  I was riding the exercise bike this morning and she loves flipping switches and poking buttons.  So the shop vac is sitting there and she pokes the switch and it comes on.  The look on her face and how fast she moved it about scared her out of her skin.  It was really cute.

I have another round of golf scheduled for Thursday afternoon.  Four of us will be playing this time, my radio guy and wine guy will be joining us this time.  Ken was giving me a hard time about my let the customer win commment.  I told him it was part of my marketing program, tease the customers a little so they have to come back and get even with me.  Leaving my golf clubs out front for a couple days after the last round did provoke some comments from people coming into the store.
