Couldn’t walk the baby on Sunday, raining. I walked both loops this morning and one loop again when AJ and Owen showed up for a walk today. Looks like the annual Jim and AJ snow storm is coming again this week. They moved into their house last year in April and we promptly got a foot of snow. Hope we don’t get that much this year.

I tried to convince Kenzie she should tell her teacher she wouldn’t be in school on Monday mornings so she could go golfing with Papa. I got the look. Didn’t take my clubs with me so no golfing today, maybe next week.

Took Owen for a walk on Sunday afternoon. A little chilly against the wind down the hill but all in all a good first walk with Papa. I got to feed him when we got back. Nana took diaper duty. Kenzie was a little crazy steering the stroller but AJ took it back for the down hill part. Before we got to AJ’s house Kenzie was curious about whether she would be able to hold Owen again. She did with the help of the ’round’ pillow.

Carter is still playing hockey probably through April.

You are looking at a newly minted Papa. Owen David was born on Thursday morning, 8 pounds 14 ounces. Both families say he looks like a Niemuth.

Carter isn’t worried, says he is still the favorite “Niemuth” grand son. Kenzie was just happy it was a boy AND she won the baby pool. She also loves to announce to everyone that she has a new cousin!! Owen will also have his first March Madness bracket this year. Jimmy says that just means AJ gets 2.

Kids were skiing on Sunday at Mount Morris. Last run of the day was across the pond. Becki made it a little farther than Carter, both were soaking wet.

One more round of golf on Wednesday. Still need a fourth if anyone is available. Noon Tee time.

Carter’s hockey didn’t turn our as good as we hoped. They lost the first game so were in the consolation group but won all the rest to take consolation champion (5th place). Not bad for Carter, he was playing up a level, he is 9, most of the kids he is playing with are 11.
