Hot one on the golf coarse today. Ken came over to Waupaca today to play. He shot 39, I had 54. Nana and Owen went into the clubhouse after the 4th hole, to warm. Carter hit a couple good ones. Hot dogs were ordered from the 5th tee box again, spoiled grand children.

Owen was in the lake with me yesterday. He likes the water. Didn’t even get blue lips on him.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of July 8th

Owen’s 2nd round of golf today. He was awake for most of it. Carter and Kenzie kept the sun off him and we parked in the shade a lot. Made the call from the 5th tee box for hot dogs. I shot 46, only 2 pars but only 2 double bogies too.

Went to the LPGA at Thornberry Creek on Saturday with AJ and Jimmy. Had a good time, saw more of the coarse this year, hopefully more next year. Just a all around fun event. Doesn’t hurt to have corporate suite access with all the food and drink you want either.

Forgot to mention last week Monday was 6 months to Christmas Eve and my son’s birthday, oh, that I mentioned.

Sadness again in the Niemuth family. One of our favorite teachers at McKinley School Marge Koepke passed away at age 87. All 3 of the kids had her for Kindergarten, still called that back then. God bless her family and her huge extended family. Thank you Mrs. Koepke you made a difference in so many lives, you will be missed.

Happy Birthday Aaron, 36 today, boy his mother is getting old. (Edit by Louise…. So is his father!!!)

Carter made fishing jigs in summer school last week, he is painting crank baits this week. Says I can’t see them because I might take them and put them in my tackle box. He was down fishing on the dock today. He said the bass were all headed for the deep water before the storm.

Good weekend for me, seven + miles on the bike Sunday after birthday dinner and shot 49 golfing this morning. Left Owen home with Nana and Carter and Kenzie in summer school. Kenzie was all about changing diapers again today, as long as it was not poopy. Owen is such a happy baby but I think he get’s annoyed with Kenzie.

Louise, Kenzie and Carter were in Iron Mountain over the weekend at Aunt Marie’s. Louise Called about 10 on Saturday morning for instructions on tying a hook on to a fishing pole. I told her Carter should be able to do it but he needed the line box for the diagram. All Catch and release on Marie’s lake for the kids. Bass, Crappie and one walleye is what they caught.

Owen wasn’t sleeping well last week but Sunday afternoon he dropped right off while I was holding him in the rocker. Papa the baby whisperer.

Bar B Que Club will be here at the store this Wednesday 6-8 PM. We are cooking all the salmon species I can get plus more seafood. $10 per person to cover costs on this one. Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of June 10th

Sorry about last week I was gone on vacation to Canada fishing. Just 5 of us this year. Ate fish every day and brought home 15 of 16 walleye and northern. Carter and his buddy thought they could out fish me but no. I even gave them a couple zeros for the sessions I fished lake trout. Look for Carter to be scrubbing floors on Thursday. Weather was great, just a light sprinkle on Tuesday. No golf this year, next year for sure.

Owen survived his first Papa day today with his cousins. Kenzie tried to change a poopy diaper but started gaging. Nana got him to the new diaper spot and Kenzie said “I got this from here.” I golfed with Carter and Kenzie today, left Owen home with Nana. Shot 57, par the first and lots of 7s and 8s thereafter. I did hit Ken’s Tommy Armor driver straight, longest drive in a long time on 9 and middle of the fairway.
