Big trouble in the Niemuth household, Kenzie is walking at will, very little crawling left in her. When she walked me this morning I was tempted to take her out of the stroller to walk on the road but not by myself with both dogs along. Can’t risk road rash on Papa’s watch.
My youngest son Scott now has the Niemuth record for latest swim of the summer. He swam out and brought the swimming dock in on Saturday. His sister watched from the house. She wasn’t brave enough to go down and push him in. She would have probably been in herself. My latest swim in the lake was a few years ago on September 15th.
Next week might be the start of the oak ridge color change out in Waupaca and Waushara counties. The maple, poplar and ash are really pretty now and the small oaks along the road are really pretty but the big ones haven’t turned yet. No wooly bear caterpillars this year, but lots of nice mushrooms when we are walking.
Check out Niemuth’s Southside Market on Facebook. Trivia contest every Thursday. This weeks question should have something to do with Wahoo because I double ordered it for Thursday and Friday.
