Happy Spring! Road Construction begins today. One lane each way from the bridge (south) up to the store. I haven’t gone up past Calumet to see what they have blocked off up there yet. Should be OK for us for now. Our side should be open (one lane each way) until August 1st. I recommend Right turns out of our driveway and go around the block, especially during busy times.
Carter had a hockey tournament in Eagle River last weekend. The first game went to sudden death and Carter went first and made his goal. He saw the goalie’s weakness and juked him out. The next 2 games they lost, because they had birthday cake at 10 PM the night before, after being in the pool for a couple hours. Kinda tired on Saturday.
Kenzie was in command at the dinner table last night. We went around the table telling jokes and had to raise our hands and be called on to answer. Then she was teaching Nana fish voice (quiet, no talking) mouse voice (whisper) cat voice (singing) dog voice (proud talking) and Lion voice (go to the principal’s office). Nana thought the fish voice should be ‘bunny’ this week for Easter, but no they already do bunny breaths which is a breathing exercise to calm the kids down. Watching her do it for the first time was hilarious.
