Owen now says “bless you” if you sneeze and “you OK” if you cough. He is trying to train me to pick him up when we play chase. He goes down on the floor and puts his hand on his leg and says ouch. I don’t pick him up.
Carter had 5 hockey games this weekend. They won all of them. The closest was 6-2.
Called Kenzie to read to me last Monday night. Becki answered the phone and said no time to read, we have a squirrel ‘situation’ and then she screamed into my ear. Kenzie called about 10 minutes later to tell me the story. Apparently a red squirrel had gotten in the house through the ceiling and was crawling under the dishwasher. Aaron rattled the dishwasher around to get the squirrel out, it popped out and ran under the table, jumped across Becki’s legs, when she screamed, around the room on the wall onto Carter who was holding his hockey stick to smack it with then down into the basement. Aaron had closed the basement door so it couldn’t get down there but Carter opened it. Any way the squirrel found a way out because they couldn’t find it even with the dog helping. Now I have to tease Kenzie about it not really happening just like Nana’s possum in the garage incident years ago. (Which really did happen, too!) She Says.
Played 18 holes of golf last Wednesday, Shot 14 over par, much better than the 24 over par the week before. Scheduled this Wednesday, probably the last time before the grass turns green. Owen’s 2nd birthday is next Sunday and he’s going to need golf shirts for his Monday morning outings with Papa.
