Specials for week of February 18th

Carter got a bo0bo0 on his thumb last weekend.  He was reluctant to tell Nana how he did it.  He was playing with the power windows in Aaron’s truck which was stuck in the snow in the woods.  But wait it gets better.  The tractor wouldn’t start so Scott had to drive his new truck out in the woods, risking dents and scratches all for his brother.  His words ‘Hooked Aaron’s truck up and barely had to step on the gas to get him out… Aaron has a whimpy truck!’

Aaron dropped off Carter and Kenzie this morning and told me they both needed naps.  Carter woke up about 4 am and didn’t go back to sleep.  Kenzie woke up about 6 am, had her 8 o’clock bottle, got dropped off by me at 8:30 had a little rice, banana, blueberry yogurt and her noon bottle by 9:30 and slept for about 30 minutes.  As soon as I tried to put her down on the bed her eyes popped wide open and she smiled.  She had her 4 pm bottle at noon along with a couple table spoons of smashed carrots and some more yogurt.  She then fought sleep before sleeping for 30 minutes when I again tried to put her down on the bed and her eyes popped wide open and she smiled.  I am going to teach her the evil Kenzie laugh.

I always tell Aaron my grandkids are a grandparents wish, “I hope you have children just like you were when you were little.”  Aaron didn’t get much sleep last night.

Fresh seafood for Tuesday will be Tilapia.

Fresh seafood for Wednesday will be Ora King Salmon Shucked Oysters and Atlantic Cod.

Fresh seafood for Thursday will be Swordfish, Walleye and Door County Whitefish if they caught any, been pretty spotty fishing.

Fresh seafood for Friday will be Snapper, Scottish Salmon, Wild Gulf Shrimp, Haddock, Perch, Bluefin Tuna and Black Cod by special order only.  I always tell people I am not as smart as I look.  I screwed up Paul’s black cod order last Friday so it is coming this Friday.  I have 4 pounds ordered so far, call me at 734 4905 if you would like to order some.

Also call 734 4905 to order Live Lobster, Clams or oysters.  Last weeks clams and oysters were 3 days from the ocean to Appleton.  Don’t think we can do any better than that.

Brat Flavors will be Plain and Greek.

We got a new delivery of salsa, seasoning, marinades and candy.  New is the Drew’s Hot Organic Salsa to go with mild and Medium, Pike’s Market fish rub, Blues Hog BBQ rub and sauces and Justin’s Almond butter (supposed to be better for you than peanut butter) and restocks of several things we had before.
