Yes September, where did the summer go? Tuesday September 2nd is the happiest day of the year, especially if you have kids going back to school. Carter starts 4 year old Kindergarten tomorrow.
I asked around the dinner table tonight if anyone did anything cute this week that I could put in this e-mail. Carter and Kenzie both said no but I suspect they were telling a fib. Grandma said no, she is more boring the older she gets. Then I offered to let her pick up sweet corn and tomatoes on Thursday but she is playing bridge with the other boring old ladies, Her Words. My nephew John did get his 4 wheeler stuck in a mud hole but that is pretty much standard for him.
We did get out to the golf coarse this morning, 5 of us plus Kenzie and Carter. The clear patch on radar that was there when we teed off turned to rain. We went down and picked up our tee shots and went home. I did get a nice bike ride in after lunch when the sun came out.
We had a customer come in last week who ordered 200 clams. I said Friday they said no Saturday, we are dropping our kid off at college on Friday and the empty nest party is Saturday. Morel of the story is order your live lobster, clams and oysters by 4 pm Tuesday for Wednesday and 4 pm Thursday for Friday or Saturday delivery. 734 4905 or stop in.
There was a big shiney 8 lug hub cap probably off a big shiney truck in the parking lot when I got back tonight. Louise will review the film to see if we can tell who it belongs to. If you lost it I brought it in the store. Pick it up when you have time.
Waupaca Sweet Corn and Tomatoes will continue to be available until first frost. Lets hope that is November.
