Under the heading Never negotiate with Terrorists or 2 year olds. Last week Monday I put the Christmas tree up and put a couple teddy bears in it. Sylvi came in from waiting for the bus with Owen and blew a gasket. So on Thursday when I picked up tater salad I put the bears back in the tree. On Friday Sylvi was just fine with the bears in the tree. In fact her and Owen went looking for more bears.

Out of town hockey last weekend, don’t know how they did.

Holiday order dates are coming fast! Specialty Caviar for Christmas is 12/13 and New Years is 12/19. Stock Caviar has more time. Meat and Seafood special orders is December 21st for Christmas and December 28th for New Years. Earlier is always better.

Store hours are 10-6 Sunday-Tuesday, 10-7 Wednesday-Thursday and 9-7 Friday-Saturday.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of December 4th

Walked with Owen and Sylvi this morning. The one mile circle, no stroller. Started out poorly, legs were tired before we even left. Owen picked up a stick for kindling and tried to hit me with it but hit his sister instead. (Point of discussion) They made it all the way around after that, no stroller, no carrying.

Kenzie had back to back hockey games Sunday, wore her out. Won both big. She had an assist in the first one that I was at. Don’t think Carter played.

Bike ride Sunday with Kenzie and her mom. Tried for Hartman’s Creek State Park but it is open for deer hunting so we didn’t go in. Still a nice ride.

Walked with Nana, Owen and Sylvi this morning. Another torture walk, wouldn’t let the kids ride in the stroller. Owen ended up pushing it home. Will do it again on Thursday morning with their mom this time.

Specials @ Niemuth’s for week of November 6th

No golf today, they took the blocks and flags off. I could have hit the ball around and had my best round ever with no putts. Just hit a bag of balls and went home to do some yard work. I had some firewood in the van that Owen and Sylvi helped me unload. Owen can carry a lot more wood than I thought.

Carter and Kenzie had hockey games Saturday and Sunday. I was at Carter’s game they won 7-1. Kenzie’s game started at 5. We stayed for the first period. They were down 2-0 when we left for dinner. Don’t know how it ended.

Carter got a photo of a Fischer under his deer stand over the weekend. Haven’t seen the Ogdensburg cougar in Waupaca yet.
